I love the idea of using good old-fashioned avocado chocolate pudding as a way of making a cream pie. The crust can easily be made lower-calorie by swapping applesauce for butter, and the whipped cream is optional (but delightful!). Thanks for the idea, Dani!

Girl I made this recipe over the Christmas holiday just for myself and I ate the whole thing and I loved every minute of it! It was so good I'm going to make it again this month LOL it's not exactly the best for my diet but it's so good.. I say that because I used heavy whipping cream instead of coconut cream and the dairy fat likes to stick to me

Dani I made 4 of this pie for our Thanksgiving supper that we had on Saturday night. I ended up making these on Friday morning chilling them and then packing them for the 5 hour trip. I held off on putting the whip cream on them till Saturday morning since non of the stores in my area carry monk fruit sweetener I had to order it, however ended up with Erythritol I missed ordered the item, however it worked. Whipping the cream I was leery about because in the past I always ended up with butter not this time it came out perfect. The pie was a hit I ended up with 3 to take since once bite the floor. I told everyone that I would not say what all was in it till they all had a piece and when I told them my niece had just eaten her last bit looks at me and says "I don't even like avocados" and told her boyfriends half that he couldn't and ate it and we still had two left and she took one home and her sister kept the other. Needless to say will be making this again.

Truthfully, this texture wouldn't likely be a hit in my household, but some of these combinations remind me of some reading I did a few years ago regarding brownie recipes using either sweet potato or avocado and/or cocoa powder (I can't remember which) I'll have to take a look through your channel to see if you have a similar brownie recipe, or if not perhaps you would consider posting one down the line! This way they can always be dark, Dany . The right way to find out a perfect ripe Avocado is to remove the little Button where the blossom were. Is it green underneath then the Avocado will be perfect-if not it should not be baught.

I was just looking at my store's flyers for ads that are coming up and I seen that they had the chocolate cream pie and stock just in time for Thanksgiving which I live alone so I don't bother to celebrate but I kept thinking about the last time I had that pie a few years back and it was so good but it's so bad for my diet. This looks delicious! If I omit the sugar in the graham cracker crust and just use the graham crackers and clarified butter, will the crust still set up well? Do you have a homemade graham cracker recipe so we can all avoid the additives and preservatives of store-bought ones? Also, have you tried this recipe by cutting the amount of maple syrup in half but doubling the vanilla?
