This is SO helpful! I just have one other question, when you put the chocolate on what ever ur putting it on how long do you have to wait until its done, And where do you keep it to dry?

The hardening time after work depends on the ambient temperature. In my case, it does not harden at room temperature on a hot day, so it hardens in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. right after work. In cool weather, it hardens quickly even at room temperature. I recommend you to experience it directly by checking the ambient temperature when you work. The finished decorations are recommended for refrigeration storage.

Thank you! I tried to do this for my cake yesterday but they never hardened. I assume my ratio was off of chocolate to whipping cream? Thanks for showing the chocolate you use. Could you give the exact measurements/ratios for cream to chocolate?

Chocolate decorations for decoration uses only chocolate. Chocolate ganache mixing cream cannot be worked because it does not harden. I recommend using chocolate with high cacao content. I hope you succeed in the next work. ღ'ᴗ'ღ

That's a good question. It depends on the ambient temperature, but immediately after melting the chocolate, it is so watery that it spreads when you draw it. I leave it at room temperature for a while, wait until it's a little thick, and put it in a piping bag. Chocolate is sensitive to temperature. If it's too thick, it won't pipe. It's best if you experience it yourself and find the best condition. ^^

I've never used vegetable oil to make decoration, so it's hard to answer correctly. In my experience, I have added vegetable oil to apply a thin layer of chocolate like linked video. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gN2fmdtklcXNYJs.html But I don't want to recommend this decoration because it can break easily if it's too thin. You can get a gloss from the tempering of chocolate.But I'm not an expert so I don't know much about tempering. Beginners are encouraged to use relatively glossy compound chocolates. :-)

The day I worked on the video was a hot day with a temperature of 30 degrees Celsius. Immediately after work, the chocolate was hardened than an hour in the refrigerator. and it is kept in the refrigerator even after the filming is completed. I hope it helped. :-)

Hello, I had use aluminum but it was not freezing.. Your one had still freezed but my one was not freezing and I used Amul Dark Chocolate... What was the mistake I did?

When I filmed this video, the indoor temperature was 30 degrees. So I kept it in the refrigerator for more than 30 minutes right after work and hardened it. Aluminium foil has a high thermal conductivity, so it began to melt faster than plastic wrap and zipper bags when taken out of the refrigerator. I recommend you to use a zipper bag over aluminum foil.

Chocolate syrup cannot be used because it does not harden.

Water should never go in when melting chocolate. Temperating chocolate is the best option. Because these are thin and small decorations, they can be easily broken and melted.Temperating chocolate makes it harder and less melted. Since each chocolate has a different cacao content, it is difficult to give a definitive answer. Chocolate with a high cacao content is recommended. Another option is to test a small amount with the chocolate of your choice.

Compound chocolate is also available. Dark chocolate is recommended over milk chocolate. I also alternate between Couverture and Compound. ^^

The chocolate used in the video is button-type dark chocolate. It is not a chocolate chip used in cookies. Chocolate chips used in cookies do not melt easily and are less workable. I recommend using dark chocolate with high cacao content. But I also often use compound chocolate. ^^

After drawing when i kept them in Refrigerator they didn't took a perfect shape..instead the shape got Destructed..my question is what should be the consistency of the melted chocolated so that it don't flow?

If the concentration of chocolate flows too much, the shape spreads and detailed work becomes difficult. Please temper before using the couverture chocolate. In the case of untempered or composite chocolate, it may be difficult to maintain its shape.

I've never used butter paper, so it's hard to answer correctly. I think flat work is possible and delicate work is difficult. If you find it hard to get a Parchment paper, I recommend a zipper bag.

I usually use a cargill chocolate.The brands available in each country are different, so look for products that are easily available where you are. Both dark chocolate and compound are possible. :-)

If you keep it well so that it doesn't break, I think it's probably the same as the storage period of the chocolate you used.

In my case, the hot day hardened the chocolate in the refrigerator right after work and the cool day at room temperature. Nowadays, it is usually hardened in the refrigerator to shorten time. The finished decorations are recommended for refrigeration storage.

I usually use a placement paper, but if it's hard to get it, I recommend a zipper bag. I can't give you an answer because I don't test the butter paper myself. If you can test it and you let me know the result, it would be helpful to many other friends. Have a nice Weekend. :-)

The hardening time after work depends on the ambient temperature. In my case, let them harden in the refrigerator. It hardens well even at room temperature in winter. For your information, I don't live in hot areas.

I see. Where I am, it is easier to get a coin shape than a chocolate bar for baking, so I use a chocolate coin. I think it's best to make it from ingredients that are easy to get. Thank you for the comments.🤗

Time depends on ambient temperature. On cool days, it hardens well even if I put it at room temperature. And I keep the decorations in the refrigerator until I use it on the cake. :-)

I've never used butter paper. Is that a sandwich paper? I think the floor plan will work out well. But it might be a little difficult to make a three-dimensional shape because it's thin. I want you to try and tell me if you have a chance. Thank you. :-)

In my case (especially on hot days), it is immediately hardened in the refrigerator and kept refrigerated until used in airtight container as shown in the video.

It is easy to melt because it is small and thin. I recommend working in a cool environment. Harden the finished decoration in the refrigerator if possible, and make sure to store it in the refrigerator until used.

In my case, the hot day hardened the chocolate in the refrigerator right after work and the cool day at room temperature. The finished product is recommended for refrigeration storage.
