Why are Swiss so good at making chocolates? I had to go to Switzerland and find out!!! I visited my favourite chocolate maker in the world - Läderach! Moreover, I share some crucial parts of chocolate making, we will see in this video how chocolate is done from the bean to a chocolate bar. 🇨🇭🍫

Yes!!! Unfortunately it’s not so common to find this chocolate abroad but when i go to Switzerland i am always getting some extra home ☺️☺️

After I had Laderach chocolates in Switzerland, there is only one chocolate brand in this world for me. I never bought others since.

I was in Switzerland last month, I didn't forget to buy this chocolate, so creamy, very smooth. I still have some that I enjoy everyday, what treat!

I got Laderach at the Zurich airport and omg it is the best chocolate I've ever had. I gotta get back to Switzerland!

I can almost smell the chocolate ❤ My first time time to try Lader was in the Qater airport. The Philippine sales lady, Maria, was so patient and helpful and nice.

I had the great pleasure to visit Bern and enjoy some Läderach and the aroma wafting around was irresistible and the flavour and smoothness of the chocolate accompanied by the crunchy delicious toppings. Mmmm yum!

Whenever you're in Austria, you have to go to the Zotter chocolate manufacture. Here you can not just get the highest quality chocolate in the country, but you can also visit the factory, see how chocolate is made, and try as much chocolate as you want at each step of creating the perfect bar. You need to have a very large stomach when you do the tour 😉 They also follow the bean-to-bar principle and even left the Fair Trade organization as they wanted to go further regarding appropriate wages for the farmers. You will love it, trust me 🍫🇦🇹

@@KrisKazlauskaite You´re welcome 😊 They also have a very large product variety and a lot of special flavours for their hand-scooped bars. Also, the factory is situated in a very beautiful part of Austria (maybe I am biased because I live there 😉) where you can also visit other producers of high-quality food. Hey Kris, don't you need a chaperone on these trips? That was a fabulous tour. The sculpture in the lobby was amazing. What a piece of art! Great tour of the factory and the end with those luscious desserts! What were they? You said you liked the white one? Was it white chocolate? The train/bus ride looked like you were going way out into the country and they you showed up at that beautiful place. Wow heaven! Xo

Great to hear from you!!! yes I travel with my husband who is my secret (not that secret actually 😃) cameraman, so gets to try the same goodies ☺️ It took me some minutes to think what are you referring to (the white one), is it the dessert I tried? If yes it was mango , white chocolate passion fruit cake😮‍💨🥇 I honestly never had that complete experience with the chocolate so it was great to taste but also understand how each step works. I've always wondered about those who figured out how to pick the pod and make a cocoa bean into delicious chocolate many years ago. And without all of that machinery too. That factory is amazing. @@estebanfabian8416 Lindt must be much bigger no? 😀 I think Läderach makes much smaller amount of production compared to Lindt, no? How was the experience for you? Where are they based?

@@KrisKazlauskaite Yes Lindt has a very big production they also sell there products in many countries and Läderach is a bit smaller My experience was pretty good i really liked it i also could do my own chocolate (decorate ) they also had a chocolate fautain like at läderach , the museum is in Kilchberg i was born there but i live in Zürich, Kilchberg is about 20min away from zürich :)

Thank you very much!☺️ Yes I actually know from the visit at the factory that they get their beans directly from the supplier, there are not 'middle men' so in that case the manufacturer get more money. Moreover, they do not use kids as a labour so they claim themselves to be sustainable. :))
