This week Paul will be pairing up his favourite high street chocolate (Galaxy, Cadbury and Supermarket Own Brand) with some of his favourite spirits, talking about what drinks compliment each chocolate brand best. This is a great one to try at parties with your friends. Wine tasting is so 2015!

Paul, I see you enjoy a wee dram. I suggest you try Old Bushmills whiskey from Northern Ireland. It holds the world's oldest Licence to Distil, and goes very well with (or without, ahem) chocolate. May I suggest the 10yr single malt variety? Hope you enjoy!!

Hi, I'm a total novice so please excuse my silly question but what should I avoid in the ingredients of chocolate. I understand It should not have oil and instead have cocoa butter, but what else exactly is a big no no for chocolate making?

I missed Dairy milk when I moved to the USA 30 years ago, My taste buds never adjusted to the Hershey chocolate which, to me, has a pronounced waxy burnt plastic after taste Past couple of years, faux Cadbury chocolate has been available, I say faux because Hershey bought out the rights for production and the name of Cadbury, most likely to kill the competition from a foreign market. They have tweaked the original recipe in order to suit the American market but it's still so much better than a Hershey bar.... Booze and chocolate...come on down..
