It is a silky-textured, delicious, easy-to-prepare cream that you can use in your cake, outer coating and decoration. You can also use it for cupcake decorations and various desserts.
📌 MATERIALS
- 1 liter milk
- 5 heaping tablespoons of flour (125 g)
- 4 heaping tablespoons of starch (95 g)
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa (45 g)
- 7 full tablespoons of sugar (150 g)
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 1 tablespoon of butter (50 g)
- 1 packet of vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 sachet of whipped cream (75 g)
- Half a glass of milk (to whisk whipped cream)
- Liquid cream (100 gr)
📌 PREPARATION
First of all, we start by putting milk-flour-starch-sugar in a pot.
Mix until smooth, add the egg and mix well with a wire whisk.
We take our pot to the middle temperature stove. We start to cook, stirring constantly. When it starts to get heavier, we turn off the stove and continue to mix quickly. It will have a dense consistency, do not worry, everything is fine🙂.
We turn off the stove. We add butter, chocolate and vanilla and mix. We mix it with a mixer for 1-2 minutes so that it is a heavy cream.
We stretch it in a way that it does not take any air. This process should be done by sticking the stretch on the cream, not on the pot. In this way, it will not crust.
We leave it to cool at room temperature. If we cook the cream the night before, it will get a better consistency. But if we have limited time, we can keep it in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours and use it after cooling at room temperature.
Now we come to process our cream. We mix the heavy cream for 1-2 minutes with the mixer. If you feel your hand mixer is weak for this process, you can also mix it in the food processor 2-3 times. We add the liquid cream little by little in a controlled manner and continue to mix. Then we add the whipped cream and mix for 1-2 minutes.
Our cream is now ready to use. If you do not want to use whipped cream, you can use 200 gr of liquid cream. If you do not want to use liquid cream, you can use 2 pocket (1 box includes 2 pocket) of whipped cream, by whisking it with 1 glass of milk. The flavor and texture will be the same in both types. 🌼😍
