Chocolate Spider!

For the first time in a really long time I'm able to create a Halloween themed chocolate showpiece. I love the way this cute little spider turned out! My favorite part are the red sugar eyes.
This is definitely the sweetest way to vanquish your fear of spiders!

So what species of spider is this that he made?? I think I got it wrong in saying Black Widow

@ejrilling Definitely agree it's from the genus Latrodectus (black widow spiders). I'd say L. variolus has the same markings as Amauri's design but idk if that species is what he was going for or he just made up this design from his head. Either way, it was beautifully made and I appreciate more arthropod representation

Why does this even look better than some store, plastic decorations? 🤣 Forget pumpkin carving, chocolate's where it's at for spooky sculptures! This was already so incredible, and then you pulled out the cotton candy and I just went "of course! it's such a perfect fit!"

Now I’m not a fan of spiders and I’m a bit scared of them BUT this spider is a masterpiece! I don’t know to be scared of it or admire it for hours? I have mixed feelings. The perfect video for Halloween that is coming up soon!
