My great grandmother was a Choctaw , I don't know much about her but wish I did. She died giving birth to her youngest daughter my grandmother. Thank you for sharing 🤗

Beautiful. Im Anishinaapek in the north but part of my mothers lineage hits the choctaw from the long walk. Im curious to know if your place of being is open to decendents trying to reconnect. I have a very alive and brilliant culture here maybe we can share. I know this is a long shot with a random KZfaq comment but it would help tie my circle tight. Much love gizaaigiin

I have a cd with him chanting on it. It came from the Smithsonian and when l ordered it they told me l was the only one who has ever requested a copy of it from them. Actually, we SING, not "chant". He's called a "CALLER", not ta "chanter"; PLEASE, stop listening to Nordic shamanists.

We have always called them chanters. My mother is from the rez and she and her parents and the whole tribe call me these people “chanters”. Are you an enrolled citizen of the MBCI?
