DISCLAIMER: When I turned down the damage per level for tames back to 1.0 after the Island, I did not realize the default was 0.2!! This will be fixed in Aberration! (This was why I didn't have much trouble in combat.) Again, this will be fixed in the next video.

I always liked scorched earth tbh, one of the few maps where your water is an actual danger and not just "make sure to hop into a pond every 10min or so"

It’s my favourite map tbh. I like being a rootin tootin shootin cowboy. For me, it’s really fun until you get lots of wyverns since then it just becomes resource harvesting simulator.

Just wanted to let you know when you level up dinos after you tame them it doesn't increase the babies level. The babies levels are a random combination of the tamed parents stats.

colors are randomized, bright colors like pink, lime green etc are a 'mutation' from breeding but has a very low chance to spawn on wilds, Same goes for Tek variants. You can also get a mod called Dino Colourizer which lets you change their natural colors if you want.

When falling on the back of dino, you can save yourself and your dino by hopping off just before hitting the ground. As long as you are off of the dino, they take zero damage. Also, you don’t take much, if any damage because you did not fall far technically,
