About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

"Showing vulnerability can be described as true courage" Leaderships is 2 things. Changing what people think they can do & changing what people believe as appropriate! To conquer shame(negative beliefs) u need at least 1 leader ( person that believes more than yourself in ur potential & has beliefs u might want to have too) create a totem/pandative/necklace of shame and embaresment .... 90 days put negative energy in it .... and then burry it in the ground => u are left with courage! WOW This is brilliant!!! i was doing it the other way around... i have a pandantive that says i am bold.... when i wear it i am bold.... the other way around is SUPER >>> TY

Validating warms the heart. I will show this to my son. However, I wish teachers could listen to this and shift their irritation with 'us kids' to empathy in understanding. Thank you Ben Foss!!

@DW101100 : Dude, it's not like you are a werewolf...!!! You CAN change yourself, do you WANT to? Your past is not a terminal disease!! You have present, that you can control = you can have a better future. Chin up, do something that you enjoy doing, whatever that is and start listing your blessings. Every day, just for 10 minutes, be your possible better self. You're going to turn into that, Bro.

This could be an interesting talk, but americans seem to have incredible ability to push liberal parenting and "kids suffer when everything is not their way" into everything...
