I'm choosing either sheer or linen/cotton curtains. I have a cat and her kittens who tries to reach and climb up the curtains. So I might have to buy one that is made out of good fabric.

I have 84" length curtains but if I hang them 8" above the top of window molding they will be short and not touch the floor. They will be about 6" above the floor. Is this OK?

If I need 101 inch curtains which size do I get? 93 inches from window to wall. My rod is 8 inches above the window.

I have a white room also, and chose to get West Elm white linen/cotton curtains with blackout to not draw too much attention to them, as the bed is the focal point of this room. I got 46x96 inches to have the extra fabric to create the "puddle" effect for my beach type Bohemian room
