@@spicyspark4387 Psych here.. and yep. It's easy to 'pick the morally correct answer' to a hypothetical question that makes you feel good about yourself, when there's no stakes. But just look how many people cling to partners they know they should let go, turn on friends when money's involved, or prioritize their careers (you could literally see rhett link and Darcy started rationalizing the choice at the end!)

The problem with these "ethical dilemma" exercises is that the situations don't reflect reality. Which renders the whole thing rather moot, since ethics has to do with the application of morality to real-world situations.

@TheSportsGuru That's an example of the "moot" I was talking about. Ethical questions involving you having perfect knowledge of (often impossible, arbitrary and nonsensical) things that will happen if you make a particular decision, while being restricted in arbitrary ways in order to create a false dilemma, are just useless. I realize this show is entertainment, but in many places people treat these ethical dilemma questions very seriously. And they're useless.

@@JordanSDuvall They're equal. People just tend to pick sides between them because, if you're used to one, the behaviors of the other will confuse and upset you. Dogs wag their tail to show joy, cats wag their tail to show agitation. Dogs stare to show aggression, cats stare to show curiosity or affection. Dogs expose their belly to be pet, cats expose their belly to show trust. Misunderstanding these behaviors because you're used to the other can lead to very negative experiences.

@@TheChocoXCheese wait what? lmao I have lived with both my entire life. Cats will wag their tail just as much as dogs when they are content or happy. Dogs and cats both stare to show curiosity and aggression. The only thing you listed that is a true difference between the 2 is exposing of the belly. Cats and dogs will both stare at their owner when they want attention or just when they are watching what you're doing. Cats and Dogs will both also stare when they see something they do not like. Most will have their Hackles raise and some might pull their ears back to show the agitation.
