You know what’d be a neat idea? Idk if this is possible or not, but what if you guys choose starters based on their Tera types (with the Tera hat being visible in the starter selection). I think it would make for a really interesting battle since you wouldn’t know anything else about the Pokémon you are selecting

Not really, you could randomize the tera type for each and then let your opponent choose, so Chimchar could have Tera Water and your opponent wouldn't know the pokemons actual typing

thats a pretty cool idea tbf, maybe one way of doing it is when theyre in the selection screen, they spin a wheel and whatever it lands on is the tera type they have to give it

I think they should do a challenge where they have to do what the other is best at. So if Luke vs Callum Callum would get pokedex number and Luke would do cry. Or maybe do the nice thing and each do their own specialty to see which specialty gives the best result.

You would have to say the region, but that would be sick. Natdex should be an option though, otherwise starters are too free.
