I feel early marriage without completing education is not a good idea. A girl should have worked for some time before marriage. A girl also needs maturity in taking life decisions.

There is a couple in our relatives who has a son only. They often mention they wanted a girl child to do kanyadaan. I mean don't you want to raise a girl to make her capable as a human being no they just wanted to kanyadaan her to feed their own ego k Bhai punya ka kaam kar liya. If I have a daughter in future I wont ever give her authority to a boy and his parents. If I have a son I will teach him to make garam roti for himself and will condition him to contribute equally in marriage. This needs to change now!!

Sir, Boy do quit job. I am from Odisha, I quit my well paying permanent job(IT) to accommodate with my wife. She got permanent job at a different location and we decided then I quit my job, doing contract jobs and we are happy.

I support my married daughter in raising her kids,we have clarity,we have only daughters.who elsewill support them if we don't. But mother if she has a son ,she neither support daughter in law nor supports her own daughter in confusion.

Sir I agree but why don't you tell men to cook their own garam roti if they are free. I believe they too have physical strength to cook roti. You said marriage is a companionship and we cannot rely on men to make us happy then why do they rely on us for garam roti cook it for themselves and their parents if they ain't supporting the career of girl. Why do men lack at this. We too feel someone should cook garam roti for us after a hard day at work (Nowadays husbands too don't provide money to working wives so we don't have anything to do with their jobs too). When will this change? There is nothing in marriage left to offer to a girl except for children. I think this institution won't last in future if men don't step up and better themselves. All the suggested careers for women were told keeping marriage in mind, men do not choose careers keeping marriage in mind so they beat the women in career By 24 ir 25 the foundation of career has not set, nothing without a foundation can survive in the long run, my advice is to set your career foundation strong and then look for marriage
