Astarion fights for you in several different branches, you have to persist to get him to break up with you. If nothing else, his "Why? What changed?" was interesting as the first resistance I felt when it came to companion romance.

@@Avengedtenfold It can also be quite emotional if you try to break up with him as a Durge who's still in the process of resisting Bhaal. If you say you should break up because you're afraid you'll end up killing him, he has really poignant monologue about how he spent so long living in fear of Cazador and letting that fear dictate everything about himself, and how he refuses to let Durge do the same with their fear of themself. It's kind of a shame its locked behind the Durge origins, as its one of my favorite scenes of his in the entire game.

The storytelling is so effective in making you feel emotion and empathy. I did try to get it with Mizora too but I backed out last minute cause how could I ever hurt such a beautiful man.

I romanced Gale and somehow Karlach too 😂. I don't even know how either. I told my husband and we both had a good laugh at how I accidentally romanced Karlach. I wasn't even trying! When I went to talk to her and saw the tell her about Gale I was like when tf did I romance you!? 🤣 I did feel bad for dumping her tho! (Karlach I have a Bard you can woo )

Apparently a lot of the companion’s romance flags are broken lol. It’s part of the reason Gale has fallen for like every Tav in existence lol.

Tav is confused lol. It reminds me of that 😂 When I got to Act 2 I saw Wyll's dance and I turned him down 😅

It broke my Heart! I am caught between Gale, Astarion Karlach and Wyll. Gale is pure husband material, hes domestic, and lovely and romantic and hes a catdad, 10/10 Karlach is Labrador Energy in the Body of a Wrestling Dominatrix, simply adorkable. Cheating on Gale or Karlach(or Wyll) with Mizora(!) is the second most Evil thing you can do in the game. The first Evil being anything bad happening to Scratch. Big NoNo. You leave the cinnamon rolls alone if you can’t commit to them.

I think she is jealous more than bitter. Like she knows she only has a few months left to live before her heart goes boom, so she doesn’t exactly have much chance to experience love and intimacy before she dies, so she gets jealous.

I’m a straight woman, so i can’t date females. I mean, it’s cute how Gale talks and talks. 😊 But i miss more options to express your own feelings to him. The replies you can give, are sometimes a bit too short, too plain. My character would be way more poetic and flowery when he starts to try and woo you :D

You can try to romance the females in game. You don’t have to limit yourself. Maybe I’m a bit more open to it because I’m bisexual, but I just don’t think the word “can’t” really fits I guess.
