My fiancé has a Stella Longboard. I just bought my first longboard it’s a San Clemente Longboard 39” Tribal Double Drop Complete Set from a skate shop online based in Bristol, PA called Barking Spyder Pro Shop. I originally ordered that longboard from Zumiez but they suggested I cancelled my order since they said the longboard I ordered was a pre-sell item and they didn’t have it in stock also, they didn’t know when it would be back in stock.

Many moons ago, when I was but a lad, I had a skateboard. It had tiny wheels, which was the style. I said it should have larger wheels, to roll down the road easier, and a longer deck, for stability.. And of course I was told how silly that idea was, how could I do any tricks?! 25 years later, I see these skateboards that are 40 inches long with 80 mm wheels, and I find myself vindicated. I've ordered one myself, a Rimable 41 inch drop-deck. What say you, longboarding public? Opinions on a drop-deck longboard for a guy who has actual children of his own, even a wife, all of whom will point out that I shouldn't have a skateboard?

Kay. So I've never tried a longboard in my life. I'm a super noob to this all and I've tried to ripstick on three occasions and I've fallen. BUT, I reeeeeaaaaally want to learn how to longboard so I can get from point A to point B. I don't understand half of the jargon y'all used but I don't intend to learn tricks or anything.
