It's because the game turns up the bass track when you're playing bass so you can hear what you're playing easier. It helps players with bad audio setups. It just so happens that the person recording is playing the bass

Now Harmonix has been charting keys parts for the guitar to play, as if they've given up on the keys player altogether Meanwhile Activision has recently refrained from charting the keys parts, and instead opted for the guitarist to play the bassist's part

You can adjust the volume of the parts that are actually being “played”, so that those parts can sound louder than you may be used to hearing in the original recording.

@AzureFan1 there's an export code at the back of every rock band 2 manual, assuming it hasn't already been used, you can enter into rock band 3's extras section and receive all the rock band 2 songs (minus a few) for only $5. Hope this helps.

EmosewaMC Bass and guitar have a much different difficulty radius based on the chart. Guitar would be devil horns based on how hard the song is too pass, whilst bass is rated based on how hard it is to keep your streak as the whole point of bass is bass groove. In this song the fast strums make it hard to keep your streak. :)

+chocolate dinosaur It's simple to do. You only need an unused export code found in the booklet that game with the RB2 game disc..... and $10. But given the amount of time that has passed, finding an unused code will be near impossible.

This chart is absolute shit except for the riff. The riff is actually near perfect, it simulates almost exactly how the real song is, except the guitar will be using his middle finger like the bassist to hit the next note, instead of the one 2 notes beside the first.
