This was a very useful tutorial! I am an amateur and started studying this étude early this year and your tips did make a big difference. This is the first étude I can now "kinda" play all the way through and it was very fun to learn. Short but challenging for intermediate players. Now I'll keep polishing it. I'll have a look at your other tutorials to decide what étude to go for next 😀

Musically speaking I find your tutorial very enlightening and useful. This is definitely the shortest Chopin etude but I think it is also one of the most dangerous ones. You can severely hurt your right hand if you don’t know how to approach it. This etude demands you to find a way to relax your right hand while you encounter extreme tension in every beat. In my opinion this might be the reason why the etude is too short. This isn’t an octave etude, the technique you need to develop is relaxing your hand in tense situations. Once you figure this out, you are “easily” able to follow the musical pointers you gave and to drastically improve the strength of your right hand.

hey, ive got a quick question. do you have any advice on how i could get the left hand down? my right hand plays this super smoothly and easily but im having trouble with the left hand jumps. thank you for the help!
