Chopin wrote this nocturne after his little sister died, man really can’t get a break

This is my favourite nocturne of Chopin’s. So few seem to really give it the appreciation it deserves. It conveys such sadness and defeat that not many other pieces of Chopin’s truly capture.

Am I the only one that loves Chopin's trills and articulations that transition to diifferent parts? This happens at 2.30 , however it also happens in Heroic Polonaise, there are two trills that happen before the main section. It really builds suspense, and I love it! 2.03

I always love your renditions (of Chopin especially). You’re one of the few pianists that is not only very technically talented in their playing but equally if not more so expressive. Your ballade number 1 in g minor is by far the best version out there I’ve heard. In college my piano professor always said of all pieces she’d give me that I always played Chopin (and any romantic era pieces) as If I wrote them. I feel like your style very closely resembles mine but you’re definitely a far better pianist than me. Keep up the amazing work! 🎹🎶🎼👍😎👍
