The Problem with Recorded Music has to do with the interference of Sound Technics and persons from the Recorting Company, etc. Technics impose their concerns regarding sound quality. The Recording Company Managers dictate what they believe the buyers of the CDs or DVDs like or desire. And the final product may lose spontaneity -- . The Pianist's Soul is no longer tthere . Lang Lang is obvioysly a fabulous Pianist. However, the trend nowadays is to make the Artists play extremely fast. The Music becomes a muddy blur ---- with all due respect, in my view. Pleased search in the Internet Rubinstein playing in Moscow in 1963 or at Carnagie Hall in New York , 1961 Even while playing fast, every single note was individualised -- we are able to hear them "Flying through the air"... In his late 80s, he was still a Genious. Best Regards, Albert
Even with the several mistakes he made, his rendition's of Chopin's pieces are always my favorite by far. He pours more emotion into his performance than any other pianist I've yet seen.

This is probably the best I have ever heard this performed. This piece takes years to master at the level he's playing it at, no matter how good you think you are.

This guy is my favorite at playing the Revolutionary Etude. Regardless of his mistakes, he truly plays it the most passionately and I enjoy listening to this video.
I remember this concert. I was still little but when I listened his play, I cried. cuz I had never listened anything like this, his play had every emotions such as a huge anger, sadness, despair, hope for freedom, and acceptance. even for a little child could felt his soul. thank you for uploading this. thank you Bunin! from Japan. btw, it is tremendously beautiful from 1:36. goose bumps....

To be honest it is only simply arpeggios and chords, it's getting it fast that's hard, but yeh it's really not so difficult when it comes to it
@laggmaker9 жыл бұрын
***** May i suggest "Schumann Kinderszenen". It has several pieces to chose from but all of them are easy enough to learn, advanced enough to feel accomplishment and beautiful enough to enjoy. Especially "Kinderszenen op 15 no7 Traumerei" is a classic piece
@bckm549 жыл бұрын
John Smith John, THANK YOU for pointing out that it is just arpeggios and chords. I've marveled at this for years and never given any thought to it being technically difficult or not on the piano. I transcribed it once for viola quintet (naturally the viola got the juicy part...) and even THEN didn't think about it. Thanks! :)
I love the fact that even his hair is enjoying this song so much :D

Astonishingly magnificent - Bravo ! The passion takes it to the peak..............I am crying with the overwhelming joy of hearing this one played like this - for all those of you that want to complain about one bad note - you have lost the incredible experience of this passion..........I played this when I was younger - very well, I may add - and at 73, I am moved beyond measure to hear it like this !!!!!

Jeepers, this was beyond a shadow of a doubt an amazing performance. And thanks to the video game Eternal Sonata, I have so much respect for the man whom composed it, Mr. Chopin himself. In fact, it was Eternal Sonata that brought me here, and again taught me how beautiful Chopin's music really is. May he RIP, and know that his music lives on for an eternity.
