I’ll be honest, I always think the middle/club slice of bread is useless. You’re adding extra carbs for no added flavor. I don’t mind it if it was there to hold extra protein on top of it, but for lettuce/tomatoes, I’ll take the normal two slices.

It actually does, more surface area for carmelization of the meat. But the meat being in burger form is mainly a thing of convenience, cost, portioning, and health code. Wouldn't want to be digging In a 20 pound pale of ground meat for afternoon service.

Theres a spot near me that does gyros and NY style halal food late night. Such a good spot. Cant beat it. I think you really can taste the difference when it's good ingredients like that
