After reading The Four Hour Chef and The Talent Code this year, Ashto put these new learning frameworks to the test. I'd always wanted to learn this song after being inspired by my Year 9 music teacher, Sonny Chua, letting this one rip at assembly. My grandmother got me started on piano and always encouraged me to play, but she absolutely HATES when anyone plays Chopsticks. You'll be kicked out of the house if you play Chopsticks on her piano! But this is what I call Chopsticks On Steroids - it takes the basic theme, runs it through 12 different variations in 12 different styles of music and 12 different keys. I think it's kind of genius, and I always wanted to learn it. Following Ferris and Coyle advice for learning and practice, I got pretty close in a far shorter amount of time than I ever thought possible. Enjoy :)
