Fun fact for more western fans: For us, this song is called Getting Closer, but in Korea this song as known as Sumi-cha (숨이차) or “Breathless” or “out of breath”which I believe both of those are awesome titles

When I use vibes I use it as the way a song makes the listener feel like and not how it sounds. I don't know what Heaven Pontanares meant, but this is how "vibes is being used.) Before any of you guys start bashing on this person, take a moment to understand were they are coming from. Being a carat since debut, I don't take offense and you shouldn't either. This commenter is just saying they both have similar "vibes" as NCT. I too have to agree with the *vibe part* and not the *dance part* because I disagree with the dance break part. Nowadays I feel like most of K-pop songs have some form of dance break. This part will tell you why I agree with the "vibe part": Don't get me wrong, both this song and other NCT songs give off a hype and badas* feel. The commenter isn't saying they copy NCT. In my veiw point, I believe the commenter used NCT as an example, like Monsta x, 24k, B.A.P., and other bands that make songs that give off similar emotions or make listeners feel a certain way. Her or she DID NOT say the song or choreography looks nor sounds the same in the *first* sentence. *But* the part where they said "screams NCT" was far-fetched and I beg to differ from that part. Let's please respect each other's opions even if we disagree. We need to represent our boys in a good way. Also, I apologise for any grammatical errors or spelling mistakes.

Being a new carat myself and hearing many toxic NCT fans that critisize other bands, it is very refreshing to see a carat that is able to control his temper and respond accordingly to the situation. I am not against NCT, it's just I heard alot of strange and bad rumors about their fandom. Turns out this fandom is worth joining.

I saw a clip of them performing this and it was shot from behind. The part where Wonwoo and Seungkwan lift Vernon is in perfect synchronization as well. They're right leg is stretched out at the exact same angle, they bring their knee in to lift Vernon at the exact same time and angle. No one really even sees it that much and that's how freaking synchronized and detailed they are.

It takes a true leader to recognize when he should take the front and when he should take the back. We all know he would kill it. But in my opinion that part was perfect for Dino because his dance style is so powerful. Only someone who knows his members strengths and weakness super well would be able to do that

Since I've gotten into Stray Kids, I've wondered why the main dancer is rarely in the center. Then I thought of SVT and realized that Hoshi is also not such an obvious main dancer. Yeah I appreciate them for letting other members shine.

Just always give him the spot where he can show his "tiger paw" and he's already the happiest. 😉 But kidding aside, though Hosh is my bias and though for me, he's the most precise and graceful dancer among all of them, everyone in Seventeen is such a performer that everyone deserves the center spot. 👏🏼

Joshua’s dance has improved so freaking much since Seventeen debuted like honestly I can only imagine how hard he worked! We’re so proud of you Joshua! I also like that he’s getting more lines because in my opinion his voice is just so good he and his beautiful face are too perfect for this world! He’s literally so good looking too! Again, my opinion think what you want to think. I just really like him he works really hard. So do the other members of course Woozi especially I freaking love him too but it’s just nice to see how much not only Joshua but all of them have improved over the past couple years. This is an edit but I can’t believe how many likes this got. Thanks everyone! Also where I live, tomorrow is Joshua’s birthday so let’s make sure to celebrate with him and wish him a happy birthday!

Hoshi, I...I seriously don't know how you do this. The monster choreo that comes out of this man, it's truly scary. THIS....THIS is what is always brewing in Hoshi's head, people. The man literally eats, sleeps, and breathes dancing 24/7 and barely gets any sleep because THIS is what he's coming up with in his brain. I get exhausted just thinking about what he has to come up with on the daily. Hoshi has to create AND REMEMBER 13 separate choreographies in his head at all times. He has to know what EVERYONE'S steps are, including his own, so he can teach AND monitor the progress of each member. All this while being the happy mood maker of the group, AND dancing so hard to his OWN choreography, that he constantly POPS HIS SHOULDER OUT OF JOINT!! This choreo had me a nervous wreck that his shoulder was going to go out on him again, but there he was, just a poppin and lockin and not even thinking about it. This man is truly amazing (slow claps). By his own admission he can be quick-tempered at times, but can you really blame him? THIS!! THIS SICK, MONSTER, MADDENING AWARD WINNING CHOREO IS IN HIS HEAD ALL THE TIME!! I'm telling you people, Qwon Soon Young is scary. SCARY !!!!

This remains one of my favorite choreos ever. From them or anyone else. It is so pleasing to the eye, they are so perfectly in sync with each other and the beat, and the formations and transitions are INSANE. There is absolutely no one who can challenge Seventeen in terms of choreography, period. It’s not just cause they have a lot of members either, it’s cause they know how to use that to create something spectacular. Like, I was looking at NCT’s performances, and they have almost double the people on stage, but their performances are always lacking and disconnected. They do not use the potential of having 20+ people at all. Look at SVT’s formations, at any point during this song. They are always interesting to look at, and they manage to keep the transitions flawless as well. There’s no awkwardly standing by in position, waiting for the beat, there’s no pause, the member leaving center stage is already in the middle of a move, as is the member now taking the center. And everyone else is always moving. And the freaking levels? During this whole performance? Mindblowing. Especially Woozi’s verse, Hoshi’s chorus part and Wonwoo’s at the end. I could talk about this choreo for hours, it’s so well made and executed. Brilliant.

First I was kinda mad and sad because nct didn't win award for best choreography.. but after I've seen this.. well I get it now edit: let me just say that nct is my ult group so this comment was my honest opinion, not biased comparing and trying to bring nct down. Even though i’m nctzen i can admit that there are other groups who are amazing dancers and have difficult choreographies. This comment was definitely not meant against nct!!! i know fuckall about choreographing and haven't taken dance since i was 12 but to add two cents as someone who's been doing art my whole life: visual composition is tough to perfect on a still image, so i can't fathom the amount of consideration it takes for a continually moving picture made up of THIRTEEN individual-minded parts. they make fantastic use of stillness and motion and speed and placement to direct the eye where it's supposed to go without ever becoming visually unclear in the more transitional parts of the dance. i don't think we compliment for their synchronization too much because adding that on to the artistry and physical energy it takes to make something like this is fucking insane. seventeen are so so good at what they do.

I feel like people are not talking about how during Vernons rap part hes standing on two other members. like that takes so much balance on Vernons part and it probably doesnt feel very good on the other members to be stepped on. like other groups have struggled to get that move down and Vernon makes it look so easy. Hes also rapping at the same time like that boy has skill.
