We are taken behind the Sydney Opera House curtain to explore many of the preparations required to stage such an opera as "Lakmé". With shooting undertaken in Sydney and New York the film leaves a lively impression of the massive task of running an opera.

Thank you! This was wonderful. Splicing the conception, rehearsal and then the final performance closely together, shows the mind set of the artists. They often see in their minds the end results as they begin their work. Then they work to bring it forth. Such a performance is a lot of work by many people, and yet it's a miracle too...enough to take your breathe away.
