Jared, please accept my sympathy for the loss of your dad. I’m so sorry. I just cannot imagine. I glorify and praise and magnify Jesus for what He is done, is doing, and will do in you, for you, and through you. I will pray for you; clearly Jesus has plans for you to be able to minister to the Hebrew people around the world. I am descended from Jews on one side of the family, and when I found out, wept for joy. I am a Christian. To be both is unspeakable joy, utterly glorious unmerited grace total undeserved gift. Jared, My deepest condolences to you on the loss of your father. That being said I want you to know that you are an answer to my prayers. From the moment I heard of that synagogue shooting, I have prayed for the families who lost loved ones, that they would come to know their Messiah, and that they would be comforted by the God of the universe. If this is any consolation, "Jared," I had a near death experience many years ago. The devil had showed up for my soul and to make a long story short . . . the Lord was able to reach me after my breath left me. Perhaps, you said a prayer for your dad? There are many Christians in the world and maybe . . . just maybe . . . someone was praying for your father? Or, maybe, because of your discussions with your father about Jesus--God could use that! You know, God is not willing for any to perish! 2 Peter 3:9 I just want you to know, that Jesus showed up in my case--in a near death experience and I'm alive today as a result of it. Another man died once as he was going to hell, but somehow ended up on his way to heaven and he was given a choice to come back or to stay in heaven. He chose to stay because he knew his mother would be worried that he may have gone to hell. Also, if it were on the news, perhaps, Christians prayed for your father and the others? God's desire is to save the lost! And He definitely loves Jewish people! Another time, I was praying for a family member who had just died. I was standing on Acts 16:31 for that family member. I had gone to church on Wednesday evening and a lady walked up to me and spoke VERY SERIOUSLY to me and said, "DON'T STOP STANDING ON THAT SCRIPTURE YOU ARE STANDING ON!" (I believe she was an angel because I don't ever remember seeing her at our church prior to her saying that to me, nor did I ever see her again)! Ok wait... well first of all condolences!! But when you were speaking at your dad's funeral and talked about Jesus what happened next? Were people mad at you? Did they understand? Again, I'm so sorry for the loss of your dad! I just want to hear more of your experience!
