Ingredients for those of you serious about making this: Soy sauce, veg oyster sauce, black vinegar, black pepper, pinch of sugar, sesame oil, chow mein, sliced onion, shiitake mushroom, carrots, celery, cabbage, green onions. I think that’s it.

It’s the Chinese way to pronounce it but I wouldn’t cringe at someone pronouncing it “chow main”

That's mandarin- In cantonese where the spelling/ recipe is derived, it's pronounced "Chow Meen"

It's not. Not technically at least. China is a very large country with many different languages, most of these languages are related to eachother, Chow mein comes from Canton region of China where they speak the Cantonese language, in Cantonese it's pronounced "Chow Mein". The lady in the video is speaking Mandarin Chinese, where they say "Chow Miàn" instead.

Looks good but get some colour on your veggies cook at a higher temperature the whole time and then lower the heat once you've added your noodles
