The fact that Rhydon survived 6 fights (4 of them with out a leg), lasted SIX ROUNDS against his final bout, and took five bombs to the face before the sixth one took him out. Honestly, he probably would have won against rayquaza while he was still in his prime.

It was quite fitting as well that mew two was beaten by the one opponent rhydon didn’t fight. The way mental was begging for their life as they were nuked felt like a fitting villain death after how devastating it was for rhydon to finally go down

Not even the Pokémon animated series could capture such cool, epic and inspiring character development as Rhydon has in this very video. The sacrifice, the scene where he comes out on top. Truly a masterpiece of art.

Well the first fight was super rigged since Wailord has water type moves with x4 effectiveness. The second fight was even more rigged since the PP used in the first fight wasn't replaced which left Wailord totally helpless.

For anyone curious why Rhydon won the Wailord rematch, it’s because Wailord didn’t have a water melee move. Its water ranged move was doing a lot of damage in the first “fight” because Rhydon was fleeing and didn’t force melee. Second fight he actually forced melee, meaning that Wailord couldn’t do anything.

Thanks for another great vid Charborg. Also, have you looked into the Character Editor mod? It makes things Way easier for streams, you can easily add and remove equipment, injuries, prosthetics, resurrect, and just about anything you could want. It allows you to have an easier time and more control than Dev mode. It can even do things that Dev mode can’t
