Die hard Tech fan here. I understand what Beard did, but it was the wrong way. You can't say all the good things he said about Tech, use the program to launch your own success, and then leave without acknowledgment as to who got you in a high level position. Extrem lack of gratitude and disrespect in the form of lacking closure.

I can't hate a man that chooses what's best for him and his family. Hard decisions are laid about for everyone of us and some choose good and some choose bad but each are our own. With that said, he's still getting boo'ed in Lubbock. Lol

Too bad he couldn't control himself. Choked his wife and got fired from his "dream job". Can't say it was deserved, but his lack of better judgement was in display at the wrong time for him.

so funny that Tech keeps thrashing the pronghorns (note: wake up the pitcher on the mound!!🤣)... baseball, basketball, and this coming season in football. beard will do the USUAL... go to austin with pomp and circumstance and will continue to get thrashed and will leave for a better school, for more money... it will be proved the texas a.d. will have made yet another crap coaching hire. after all, he couldn't tell the difference between beard and adams. adams OWNS beard and pronghorns. enjoy.
