Bosh was the only reason the Raptors stayed semi-relevant after the departure of Vince Carter. He carried the Raptor teams during that era but unfortunately never had players around him who could help elevate the team. He had every right to leave the Raptors in 2010 but it probably could have been handled in a more mature fashion. Definitely a Hall of Famer. It is unfortunate that his career appears to have ended prematurely. As a Raptor fan for many years, I consider Bosh to be one of the premier players in the history of the franchise.

I rate Bosh as the 2nd best player in the 2003 nba draft behind Lebron and even ahead of Melo and Wade. He did not get enough US media attention as a Raptor and was snubbed off many all-nba teams for the likes of Shawn Marion, Carlos Boozer and David Lee despite being hands-down better than them. He also was voted in as an all-starter only once in his career in 2007 by fans which was also his lone all-nba 2nd team selection. His other 10 all star selections were all based on merit as he was voted in as a reserve by coaches. Melo on the other hand has NEVER been selected to an ASG as a coach's reserve - he has only been voted in by fans 8 times and then selected by the nba commissioner as an injury replacement twice. Bosh is a better defender and team player willing to adapt to a third-wheel role in order to help his team win. Bosh's career was always going to lead to championships one way or another. Joe Dumars the former Pistons GM who drafted Darko but also built that 2004 title team said years later that Chris Bosh was the 2nd name on his draft board ahead of Carmelo Anthony. He said had he lucked out and changed his mind last minute before the 2003 nba draft he would have picked Bosh. If Bosh gets drafted by Pistons he likely earns the starting PF role playing along Big Ben Wallace at Center while the Pistons still make the finals. They likely never do the Rasheed Wallace trade while the Kobe-Shaq feud is fresh so Bosh might have won a title as a rookie. And likely helped Pistons build a sustainable contender around him as oppose to the aging core of Billups, Hamilton and the Wallaces. If Bosh won titles early while playing like an all star on a US franchise - his brand might be completely different and he might have drawn better career praise much like other quiet superstars in Tim Duncan and Dirk Nowitzki. Either way he ends his career as a 11 time all star, 2 time champion and one of the best mid range shooters in the game. Not to mention his billing as one of the game's best PFs in most of his prime with post skills before he transitioned into the first full time stretch 4/spot-up shooting big in the current nba era.

Melo and Bosh are interchangeable out of the 4 but I put bosh higher because of rings. individually as a player, i'd take melo but both are talented offensively and bosh gives you that size/stretch 4. he played in an awkward transitioning era from big men down low. wish i could see prime derozan alongside bosh. he'd fit well.

I loved CB4 on the Raptors. Consistently one of the hardest working players you'll ever see, gave it his all night after night even during the years it was a mediocre or losing team, with himself as the only star. Worked to improve so steadily. The guy became one of the most consistent FT shooters in the league for instance, just by virtue of hard work and practice. CB4 had a great legacy to his team.

CB4 in his prime (along with his dreads) was a monster statistically. Then he went to Miami and became a vanguard of a NBA that emphasizes versatility, quickness and perimeter shooting over size and brute strength.

He did trail blaze the moment he signed with the Heat and most Americans didn't even know where he came from let alone Raptors being in another country. And to be honest seeing him on those Heat teams going deep in the playoffs and winning titles probably made die-hard Bosh and Raptors fans feel like they were apart of the ride. I remember the 2011 finals where Lebron choked and the Heat (who were considered champions before the season even began) lost to the Mavs and Bosh broke down in tears during the walk back to the locker room - it was his longest playoff run ever, first finals appearance and against his hometown team no less where his family and friends probably watched every game on tv or in person. Then the 2012 playoffs he gets injured colliding with Roy Hibbert in the Pacers series and doesn't come back till 4 games into the gut wrenching ecf when the Celtics are up 3-2 and he helps them make a comeback and they advance to finals to beat OKC and both he and Lebron get that first ring. The 2013 finals he had another unforgettable moment when he grabbed the nasty rebound in game 6 to dish a pass to Ray Allen for a game tying 3 that lead to the heat beginning a comeback to win the game and the following game 7 to clinch back to back titles. They also became the first team ever to beat Popovich and Duncan led Spurs in a finals. Obviously the following season Spurs got their revenge but that 4 year window of Basketball to me personally was a lot more exciting then the Celtics Big 3's first season, the Kobe-Shaq era and even the current GSW dominance. Only Jordan era Bulls which I didn't really watch drew similar hype.

Looking back at Bosh's relationship and mentorship with Demar now paying big dividends it has to make you wonder what if BC had drafted Lamarcus Aldridge over Primo Pasta in 2006 and they played together on the raptors with LA getting the same guidance as Demar. Raptors could have had our own legit twin towers like Spurs once did with Duncan and Robinson except ours would be in the weaker Eastern Conference and both guys would be in their prime together. BC tried to play fans after that flop by acquiring a downhill Jermaine O'Neal to pitch the same thing except for the fact he couldn't stretch the floor like how both Aldridge and Bosh can still do today and also had a diminished ability to defend the post let alone remain healthy. I think raptors ended up giving up a future first rounder to unload O'Neal's huge contract at the time to the Heat who ironically used the cap space after said deal expired and Wade's pitch of pay cuts for rings to woo both Lebron and Bosh in 2010.

I had three blood clots two in my calfs one in my arm. But I don't understand why bosh can't play on a blood thinner Im on warfrin. If the issue is concern for bleeding well my inr (thiness) was 6.0 usually 2minimum-3max and I worked as a bouncer got punched by 6 ppl in my head and I went to hospital didn't get any hemorrhage. So why can't he just play on the thinner, he needs to consult his doctor cuz other blood thinners are prone to causing bruising easily (I knew one women had many bruises I never experienced this) and I still played basketball sports powerlifted no issues. Doctor told me to try a newer blood thinner I refused cuz warfrin was more backed by studies and my experience I had no issues in terms of bleeding occurring. And I am a very prone to the clots but I manged to get off the thinner for a year while taking a natural product but if I had more resources I could completely eliminate warfrin for natural thinner. But for bosh warfrin should be fine for his sport unless hes not telling us the entire truth or doctor taking advantage cuz warfrin costs 10 cents a tablet vs 3.00 per tablet newer thinners hence taking advantage docs push it in America especially $$$$

TheUnfriendlyGhost you never had a clot you will never understand if your blood is too thick can cause clot blood is to thin you can bleed to death . When your on a thinner no contact sports I. E Mma boxing football but basketball is not like these sports where your getting hit in the head etc. Hence I don't understand why can't he play ball on a thinner. His clot prolly happened again cuz he was taken off (protocol) but if clot happens again then permanently on thinner. Blood clots cuz blood thickness and clumping inside the deep Vein and if untreated go to lungs or brain stroke further they damage occurs inside the Vein then the clot forms like a scab. . Sure his career in sports could be the issue from increased blood pressure damaging interior walls of the Vein etc but regardless on the thinner you should be able to play ball cause a clot 95% won't form if it's properly thinned out I went to two blood doctors first one recommend warfrin (most studied drugs) second one said go on the new blood thinner cause you don't have to get it checked monthly for thinness but did some research more ppl have issues with newer thinners and prone to brusing internal bleeding (been lawsuits) even though docs say no need to chekc inr but studies recommend it still should be done. Women was covered in bruises from taking blood thinners newer ones she asked me if I get it I'm like no never since using warfrin from 2010 presently. Again He may not be fully disclosing info here either but second opinions matter I went to two blood docs and one specialist in blood clots. No one can figure out why it occurs but talked to homopathic he said blood ain't getting purified hence kidney could not working properly or liver.

Another big factor on why he can't play is because of stasis (i.e. traveling, and sitting on planes for multiple hours), which is a main factor for developing reoccurring blood clots and DVT leading to a pulmonary embolism.

Demar who has only made 3 all star teams is not going to be the greatest raptor ever. Carter and Bosh in terms of whole career are probably still 1 and 1A. Maybe if Wiggins arrives some day as a ufa to create a new era and wins then he especially being Canadian could be the new best raptor of all time. Or the Raptors especially with the Leafs currently being relevant can fold it in and start a proper rebuild hopefully by drafting the next greatest raptor ever with a high pick. I guess that is out of the cards for the next 3 seasons after Lowry and Ibaka inked a pair of albatross contracts.

One of the worse Raptors player, who left the team he supposed to lead. I dont blame him for seeking Championship in Miami for selfish reason. But I hate him as a Raptors fan for abandoning his team. Stay away from Toronto, stop with your explanation who cares, I dont🤨

You were traded to Toronto and you experienced a culture shock. What do you think how I felt when I immigrated from Germany as a 21 year old female to Canada. Do you think that was not a culture shock? These guys are totally have no experience of what culture shock really means. You guys from the US spoke all English but I did not and you make it sound like it was more difficult than we immigrants who came from countries where English or French were not the first languages. Can you believe it that these guys who came from the US had a culture shock but not us who came from countries where English was not the first language?

I would love to sit down with Chris Bosh and have a conversation. The things this man has gone through over the past 65 million years, he must have some great stories.
