Bottom line, give Lebron credit, you can still hug Mj nuts if you want to, their can be more than one great player and Mj can be your G.O.A.T but Lebron is definitely one of the best and if you cant give that man his just do, you need to stop talking sport because your being to bias...

If LeBron had Kyrie & Love in throughout the 2015 finals(LeBron had Cavs up 2-1 WITHOUT them BOTH)...💍 If Wade wasn't playing hurt in the 2014 finals(look up games 4 & 5. Wade shot like 7 for 30 combined)... 💍 If 22 year old LeBron wasn't too great for his own good and never made the finals in 2007 to just be criminally overmatched by the Spurs... (One less finals loss) If KD never would've submitted to & joined Golden State to have LeBron criminally overmatched in the finals AGAIN...💍Skip likes the "if" game, so here are some for him to consider.

And if Lebron stepped up in the 2011 finals when Wade and Bosh played great, his finals record would be better. Without going to Miami, I don't think we would be discussing Lebron and Jordan in the same breath.

Obviously this doesn’t include the playoffs. Jordan’s actually stream of double digit scoring is 1045. Lebron James scored 8 points in the 2011 Finals. He also scored like 6 points against Indiana in 2015 in the Playoffs. Meanwhile Jordan never scored under 15 points in any playoff game, let alone under 10.

@@Cesar.Duarte_II Sure, there are many ways to view the context, but that doesn't change the fact that one guy has put more miles on his body than anyone in the history of the league by this point in their careers, apart from maybe Kareem. This is with two shortened seasons and a lone season where he had an injury. He is already number one in playoff minutes every played by about 700 minutes, and will add to that this year. The other had a year and a half off. Doesn't matter why or how it happened, but it did.

@Banned4Life
@Banned4Life 3 жыл бұрын
@@Cesar.Duarte_II And what does that have to do with your previous argument? You were proven wrong, and you're moving the goalposts randomly. You want to play that stupid game, then how about the 73-9 Warriors? They couldn't take down LeBron with a Finals MVP, DPOY, the two best shooters in the history of the league and a two-time MVP. They had to go out and get a fourth All-Star/MVP/scoring champion to beat LeBron. How's that for ''having to recruit''? Then you talk about whining under a video that even talks about how Jordan walked out on the game twice, once completely out of his own pettiness. Bring on some more ''arguments'', mate.

The fact that he didnt get injured and STILL didnt get bigger championships pie is more astonishing.....Lets see...Jordan lost the years he had to attend college he lost the years he voluntarily retired(two times by the way) and STILL got 6 rings. Lebron went to NBA straight from high school...never got injured..never retired or lost a year and STILL only got three.

Dreamdancer11 first off MJ didn’t voluntarily retire, he owed gambling debts and his dad got killed over it, that’s not volunteering. Jordan also had a super stacked team and his competition wasn’t exactly stiff. Any player in today’s NBA could be a pretty great player in that era

If championships are the standard then Bill Russell is the GOAT. Jordan stans look pathetic when they use a team championship to make an argument for the greatness of a single player. The clutch argument is stupid, we all know Ray Allen is more clutch than anyone, does that make him great? Stop regurgitating Skip's takes and think for yourself. The GOAT conversation is futile there is no criterion therefore there will always be different goats. Do not present your opinion as fact.

As always Lebron > Jordan, he passing up Jordan - as the all around better player, and frankly it's not enough close. Lebron would have 6 rings if he had Pippen and Phil Jackson. He would have the rings if he had what Jordan had. Lebron is the overall stronger force on the court, he controls the game way more than Jordan ever did. He does more. Jordan will go down as the most clutch player of all time, but unfortunately not the greatest. As for people who read this and say but you didn't watch....Jordan... no I watched Jordan throughout his career along with Kobe afterwards. Kobe he greatly benefited from Phil Jackson and Shaq - and that's how he got 5 rings. So in comparing those three players, Lebron is the greatest.

I don't understand why people put rings above all else in a team sport like basketball. This isn't tennis. This isn't bowling. This isn't golf. You NEED a solid team to be able to compete. Jordan never had to face a team like the Warriors. There is so much more overall talent in the NBA in 2018 that it's absurd. I mean we got guys like Damian Lillard barely making the All-Star team nowadays. There aren't enough All-Star slots to go around anymore. It wasn't like that in the 90s. Someone like Eric Bledsoe could probably be an All-Star in the 90s. I hate when people fail to look at the difference in eras when it comes to comparing these two. We don't call Wilt the GOAT because he played in a different era and his stats are inflated. I'm not saying LeBron is better but LeBron is a lot closer to being the GOAT than Skip gives him credit for. I feel that if LeBron and Jordan switched eras and switched teams, and you give LeBron a massively underrated guy like Scottie Pippen at his side for all of his Finals runs, and you toss Jordan on a team like the Cavs and pit them against the KD/Steph/Draymond/Klay Warriors, and you give Jordan Tyron Lou or David Blatt while LeBron got Phil Jackson, this debate would be going a whole lot differently.

I agree. Eras make a difference. Coaching and training are big factor, also. Jordan's determination was unmatched and that pushed him to be better. LeBron's physic and conditioning allows him to be successful. Now, if we were to switch the two (teams and eras), the conversation COULD be going the other way. Both would still dominate, no doubt, but if I had to start a team in any era with one player, not knowing who the rest of my team would be, Jordan is the one. With LeBron, you would be worried trying to find someone to lead the team. In 2015, Jordan would have beat the warriors. In 2017 & 2018, he probably would have lost too.
