Second of all, Kobe and Shaq are never called a superteam, Michael with Pippen and Rodman neither, so why is the Lebron-AD duo a superteam? They didn't even have an all time supporting cast. Did Chris Broussard really just say Lebron didn't win a championship without a super team? Last I checked last years Lakers weren't a super team and in fact people were saying they couldn't get past blazers and rockets.. and they did and won championship. Just Lebron and AD. Also that 2016 cavs team i wouldn't even call a super team as well bc love wasn't really a major factor it was mainly Lebron and Kyrie. Super teams i think of are warriors with Kd, Curry, Thompson, Green, Igoudala , Cousins. Or nets KD, Irving, Harden, Griffin, Etc. Also Lebron took a cavs team without Irving and Love to finals himself multiple times ... so don't give me oh Lebron couldn't do that without a super team bc it's not even close to true.

@@tylerk4641 AD isn't just an all-star,he's a super star. And I love me some Khris Middleton, and I want him in the top 20. But I dunno. In no order, I am sure most would agree these 20 players are better than Middleton: Giannis lebron KD Harden kyrie dame steph Joker booker zion beal Luka Kawhi Tatum Mitchell Paul ( I don't think he's top 20 anymore, but most do) embiid AD PG Jaylen Brown That's 20, and some would argue Middlton would fall behind a handful more guys and be outside the top 25. I think he's solidly in the 21 to 25 range. I think Jrue Holiday is solidly in the top 21 to 30. But when people talk super teams with Lebron they more or less just mean he's never won without another top 10 player next to him. Giannis has a good team around him. But he's the only one who made the all-star team this year. Suns had Booker AND Paul in it.

Remember my words in 2050 : he will play only for Bucks his entire NBA career, even if he will not get another championship. The only possibility to leave at some point is if Bucks trade him for any reason. Thats why he will again sign even before this contract concludes. This is utopia a super star to do things like this in modern world. He has transfuse his principles to the team and thats how they play. Trust Loyalty Hustle. Leadership theory so vividly applied in real life terms.. This championship is not bought, was not provided, was not sponsored. It should weight more to any future comparison in our consciousnesses.

Its very fascinating And of course Giannis gets into that exclusive superstar club. Not the 'narrative' or 'regular season' superstars. Not the 'what if' argument based lists that casuals usually have. The top 4 players in the NBA have not changed since 15/16, we all know who they are. If he pulls this series off, Giannis makes that a top 5 with a grand entrance at #1

Refs only buy that for a couple games, they get graded to. You keep falling for the soccer stuff you get dinged so they don't give floppy guys calls as the series goes on. Now they still gonna call some stuff but from GM 1 and 2 overall it's gotten less ridiculous minus a booker 7,8,9th foul

It’s really just super lebron. If you swap bron with Giannis the bucks would be a super team. If gou swap bron with Kd the nets are a super team even without harden. Swap bron with Kawhi or PG and clippers a super team. Swap Ben with bron and 76ers are a super team. Swap bron with curry even with the injuries and the media would call it a super team. I notice they only like to call it that when on the team

I’m stoked that Giannis could get this without a “superteam”, I love him and he deserves it. But lets not act like Holiday and Middleton are sooo different from Kyrie + Love or Wade + Bosh or even Allen + Garnett/Pierce. Its just name power, but when you look at performance in postseason particularly there isnt a gap

Bro , d wade already had a finals MVP when LeBron joined. Khris Middleton was a 2nd round pick G Leaguer. I understand the playoffs, they're putting up numbers. Nobody was expecting Khris to be that #2 to giannis. Everybody knew Wade/Bosh/Kyrie/Loves position because they were all all stars and top 5 picks.

@@majinbucks4145 But exactly this is what i mean by name power, when you go back and look at those runs though the production is the same, if not Khris doing more. I'm just saying the narratives shift based on the names it doesn't matter if we expected Middleton to have these games, he has now had three straight seasons of being what you could expect from a number 2 and that is the fact of it. Its just funny because Love and Bosh basically became punchlines during their finals years (especially Love) but now its back to being a "superteam"

I hate the super team talk my opinion the only super team in the last 20 years was warriors with KD. The celtics with Kg,pierce, ray and rondo I don't know if that's one. Personally I think bosh and love were allstars on bum teams and just okay on the good ones. The nets kyrie and James get injured alot unfortunately. The Lakers last year with malone and the glove maybe but they were at the end of their ropes and shaq & kobe started beefing.

The only thing i disagree with Broussard is that Lebron hasn't won without a superteam. last year lakers weren't a superteam in my opinion. Only two superstars. Obviously Giannis doesn't have a superstar by his side, but to win without another one the whole nba had to be injured. In my opinion a superteam is 3 or 4 superstars or 2 superstars plus one borderline (like Chris Bosh)

I would never say Giannis has a cheap ring,he beat who was in front of him and as you said, you can point out something every year to discredit a champion, but everybody says that if the Nets were healthy (which is a real superteam) he would have lost. You can even say that Lebron won last year because there were no superteam, the NBA was composed only of dynamic duos.

Is anyone else getting tired of watching Booker and Paul complain to the refs every time down the court? Booker can’t even walk to the huddle at a timeout without complaining. Not to mention Booker should foul out every game because all the does is push off or duck his shoulder into defender to create space. He creates the contact every time and then wants to complain. Fitting LeBron was in the arena, because I used to think nobody complains more than him. Booker has proven me wrong. His game is trash.

I think it was Broussard that said Lebron has only won with super team. Hmmm that is not true. The Lakers are NOT a super team. Again the Lakers are NOT a super team. Lebron has won without a super team with Lakers 2020. Having Anthony Davis does not make it a super team. You need at least 3 superstars to make it a super team. Even when he was in Cleveland, I never saw that team as a super team especially with Love and Irving always hurt. By the way if anyone is so curious about Love and Irving career before Lebron got there, what did they ever do for their respective teams? They both couldn't even make it to the playoffs. They both are not great players, but when you pair them Lebron then people are going to say "oh that's a super team". Lebron James made it work. Had it been somebody else other than Lebron, they not winning the championship. When Kyrie left the Cavs, Lebron still made it to the Finals. Kevin Love was flat out horrible and always hurt. That has to be the worst #2 Lebron has ever played with. He clearly underachieved. I mean the Cavs roster was a horrible one too. It's only Lebron was what made it worked.

Preach bro, im sick of ppl claiming the Cavs were a superteam they weren't, Kyrie was young, how a young Kyrie with no playoff experience makes a team super? He was a superstar talent but not a superstar, in 2013-14 the year before LeBron arrived, if I would've said Kyrie the best PG in the league or even top 3 ppl would've laughed at me, now when Lebron get there he a superstar now, and it's a superteam? Get outta here, and K Love didn't really do anything in those Cavs days, and last years Lakers team definitely wasn't a superteam, they said yall last year that the Lakers team wasn't that good but now they a superteam, smh it seems like anytime Lebron gets a little help they wanna call "Superteam"

Kevin Durant is the best NBA player. But Giannis is improving--most notably his passing, decision making. Now, if Giannis could somehow develop a reliable 12ft fade away jump shot over/against these "wall defenses", and somehow reach 75% on free throws, he would be the best in the NBA. Just do that. Don't worry about 3pt. shooting. It's a big "if", but it won't be for lack of effort/practice on Giannis part to develop these things in the offseason.
