I remember it well. Watched it at an Applebees. Could not believe that Miami would obviously not play Nebraska in the NCG. I miss the BCS.

Played in this game. This was my Senior Day. One of the best days of my life! Knew we were gonna Win before the game started. Locked the gates and weren't letting them out, until we were done with em!

Words can’t properly describe how thoroughly Colorado ended the Nebraska dynasty this day, especially shattering the aura of invincibility over the Blackshirts: at one point arguably the most legendary defense in all of college football.

I really liked the Big 12s North & South divisions in the 00s. Heck, i liked all of the conferences teams & locations! But the Big12 North is just cool. Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, and Kansas St & Iowa St. Nebraska was heading for the national championship game...just gotta go to Colorado and win...

Colorado fell off once that one coach decided to recruit his son to be the starting QB smh But I really hope Deion turns it into a powerhouse, like everything about the team (colors, stadium, style) historically should be a top tier team
