i missed hime twice in prince george, british columbia because i was on night shift at my sawmill.and all the people attened there said chris was down to earth about everything and that's all that matters.just being out on the snow is reason enough WE should stick together and enjoy ourselfs and bring in new members to experience this awesome feeling of flying through POW!!!

Burandt is good communicator, he should shoot all his tricks (like this one) and sell the CDs (about finesse and control) I would buy it!!! Even from Eastern guys like me, those techniques can certainly be handy one day, we'll fly over there and try the real stuff

800 is the perfect sized sled easier to handle and still puts out tons of power

@elaposto ive rode 1000's and 800's though i personally have never bought more than a 600 and i prefer the smaller displacement they make more power than 800s of a few years ago, super light and just float across powder.

@elaposto you dont get that its not all just power. You want light weight with power. Those 4 stroke turbos are WAY to heavy for bondocking

the video provides no proof he isn't a mountain rider as this is only a min or two of him actually riding in the mountains. The throttle is your friend riding technique has nothing to do with being a mountain rider or prairie rider or ditch rider, that is from riding with the older sleds that used to be 600-1K lbs which is easy to get stuck if not doing full throttle to keep momentum.

these are very nice sleds, but not any average joe can afford this kind of machine. i have heard they are around $15000 canadian, i ride an old old polaris indy, my father purchased it for aroung $1000.

man. that looks like fun. but if you ask me, the snowmobiles these days sure are ugly. to me, most of them look like nothing more than a long, long track with an engine bolted on top of it. I guess the deal is you gotta have the long track to play in the extra deep powder.

That guy that considered himself an avid mountain rider needs to know that he sucks. If you consider steering a sled uphill w/o getting stuck a new skill then you're a below average beginner. He's definitely not the only snowmobiler like that. Try to find someone who has been riding for more than a year to admit they aren't above average is impossible.

cheaters....try that with a 1972 artic cat with a track no longer than the seat on that thing, mind you 17" wide cleated track. But honestly if you need an 800 with a mile long track, its no fun, too easy.
