It was weird when chelios came over to Detroit but he became a fan favorite. It was funny when Kane suited up too.. but he's already a fan favorite. Hopefully he sticks around in detroit, but chicago... he'll always be one of yours. That will never change.

I'm sorry but his antics on and off ice (mostly his mouth) BTW I liked Chelios just didn't see much class.. some toughness and high compete level..I'd take him on my team anytime but I still think he was a guy who had no class..

It’s gotta feel wild getting praised by people you idolized growing up or even ones you hated as a kid. Obviously you don’t hate them, they didn’t brain some dude into the boards during the finals or anything, but guys who scored a goal in the playoffs that eliminated your team, so you hate them for that, but that’s it. respect Kuch but Kuch literally has all Kane's shifts on an ipad and studies them. he like Panarin is a super talented apprentice act, but the original is the original. and Kane scored the putaway goal in 2015 gm 6 off a Kuch turnover, w Kuch standing right next to the net watching it go in.

Eh, Kane was a stud and clutch in the playoffs. But Auston Mathhews has already surpassed him as the best American born player. The dude is on a better goal scoring pace than Ovechkin through 562 games. I'm saying this as a Bruins fan too who hates the Leafs and dislikes Mathhews. I know everyone hates on the dude but he's better than Kane.

Kane has OT goals to win the 2nd round, conference final, and Cup final. Auston has never won a 2nd round, conference final, or Cup final. Kane leads him in playoff series wins 17-1. Auston's goal scoring drops by 40% in the playoffs for his career.
