Did you see the interview? First Christie says he was all horrified by Trump's Big Lie, then he says, Yeah I've known the guy 20 years; I thought the presidency would change him. It didn't. So, Chris, how is it you were so surprised and horrified by January 6th? You weren't. You'll say anything to try to get ahead.

How/Why is he so affable? He goes on shows like the View and the ladies are nice to him and kind of laugh around with him, forgetting that he’ll immediately switch gears as soon as Trump runs for office.

Nicole Wallace roughed him up pretty good yesterday on her show on MSNBC. Not about Bridgegate though, because her show is only a couple of hours long and with Christie there’s just so much ground to cover. But it was fun to watch - relatively speaking - and you could see Christie’s fight to try and keep his true nature from showing which is, of course, that of a nasty, tired old bag of pus, spite, and hot bad breath. I felt sorry for Ms Wallace for having to look at him for as long as she did, but she did not back down.

One of the main things I like about Seth is that you always know where he stands on an issue. You might not like where he stands, but at least you know where that is. The only people I watch now are Seth and Jimmy Kimmel.

As I see it The 3 biggest areas of relief we got in November was Trump finally vacated the WH threw himself a pathetic going away party at airport with few people attending (no massive crowds as projected) and Trump being removed from Twitter and no more massive daily trash talk. Our country is still on its knees . Topped off with Congress (both men and women) behaving badly.

Unfortunately, historically voters have forgotten what politicians said, did, and claimed in almost every modern election. He's betting voters forget again, or get so overwhelmed with current issues that they won't care what happened last year. I hope that's not how it plays out next year, but already we have Republicans who voted against the infrastructure bill taking credit for bringing money and jobs to their districts. I would be happy to never hear from Christie or tRump again.

Thank you, Seth, and the writers! I've always said that there are a million reasons to make fun of Chris Christie - but his weight isn't one of them. And unless i missed it, this entire video went without a cheap fat joke. The rest of my comedy heroes tend to really go low on that one factor, and it was refreshing to enjoy an entire segment without being obese-shamed by proxy! Very classy, not that i am surprised.

Shame is a perfectly legitimate human emotion. It's what keeps us in check and is the prime mover in what we call a conscience. It helps us make the right decisions in life. Only a sociopath is free from it. You act as if it should be eradicated or something. We use shame to discourage behavior which is not or should not be acceptable. Smokers have been virtually shamed out of existence, which is great, as that discourages young people from starting and takes a huge burden from health care systems. EXACTLY the same tactics should be employed to prevent the next generation from all developing diabetes by their 50th birthday. Sure, some feelings are going to be hurt, but boo fucking hoo. Stop shaming shaming, you shame shamer.

This really shows the difference between Seth's show and everyone else's. While all the others either fell for Christie's BS or actively participates in it (like Trever Noah's daily show that actually brought Christie as a guest), the Late Night team went the other way and try to expose him for the fraud that he is.

How could he win *_again_* when he's lost every popular vote so far? He lost by 3 million votes in 2016, by over 8 million votes in 2020. He won't win in 2024, either. But Republicans intend to make him president nevertheless. Especially if they haven't managed to overturn Roe V. Wade by then. They will pull out all stops if they haven't achieved that by then. Second of all, you'll remember Chris Christie talking trash about Trump when Chris Christie spins around and joins that raunchy, fetid, disgusting conservative ticket with smiles and glad-handing on a stage for all the world to watch. He will grovel and submit as long as it keeps him in the spotlight and gives him a little bit of power.

Dancing around simple questions is unacceptable in every area of life. Ask a spouse if they cheated and see what happens when they do the answer dance. Ask a student if they cheated on a test and see what happens when they do the answer dance. Why would anyone accept the answer dance from a politician. I'm sick of it. Corruption attracts the corrupt.

He became even more famouser by closing down toll booths and entire lanes of travel leading up to the George Washington bridge for months or years. One of basically two ways into Manhattan from New Jersey used by tens or hundreds of thousands of commuters every day to get to and from their jobs or loved ones.

Hey everyone who invited Christie onto their platform...please find the nearest sea and walk straight into it. I know it is difficult to fill a 24 hour news cycle with content, but have you considered picking up a game controller? The youth find "Let's plays" swaggy poggers on fleek! Or maybe literally anything else. Learn a single lesson from the last 6-100 years. (I have lost the ability to properly gauge the passage of time). Stop giving attention to the worst kind of people because everyone can't turn away from a train wreck.

He says they're only found near the sea. This Midwestern girl thought, "well, obviously, you've never been to any Kmart/little Cesar's parking lot in a flyover state". But he's the expert, so I'll let it slide.

It's a shame that during the beach episode a group of well meaning beach goers didn't try rolling Chris Krispy back into the ocean in the mistaken belief he was a stranded whale. But then, that's probably why they had to close the beach off, to avoid such misunderstandings.

I once had a friend like Chris C. He was infinitely better looking, socially gifted, utterly charming and even generous. Deeply insecure with himself, he invented myriads of stories, in fact, he lied uncontrollably all his life, and eventually took his own life. Very sad, because, unlike Christie, he was much loved.
