I’ve been a Chris Cornell fan since 89, when I bought “Louder Than Love” on a whim. I was fortunate to see him live a number of times. Undoubtedly my favourite musician of all time. His voice, his writing style, and his willingness to take chances. Irreplaceable. Part of me still can’t accept that he’s gone. RIP Chris.

i was lucky enough to see the higher truth concert in regina last year and he rocked the house! his music touch me in many ways and helped me threw though times in my life. im really going to miss him and how he touched many people lives like mine with his god given talent, amazing singing and generosity and kind heart. from his soul he sang with passion. this world lost the best rock musician last week in my opinion. hes rocking the house in heaven now. rip chris :(

Four years later and it still hurts. I may not have grown up in his "prime," but that didn't stop my dad from blasting his already blistering voice every chance he could get in the car. If it weren't for Chris Cornell I would have never picked up a guitar or sang. And seeing him perform so close to his death still just... hurts. You can tell he knows. The world lost an amazing man that day. Rest in peace Chris. I hope you were welcomed with open arms to wherever you were heading.
