Yes, my experience at several jobs with toxic culture, mostly female, is abhorrent. Gossip, caddy, backstabbing, lack of mutual respect, won't leave coworker alone to do their job in peace. Not everyone is a CEO or a hot shot media guy that can softly land at news nation Chris. Most of us don't have lawyers on retention. if a woman even sneezes at me the wrong way at work, I get shit canned, no severance, no debate, no investigation. the reason is not because the workplace is so unfair. its because its cheaper to believe the woman then to fight for the man.

Nobody is stopping kids from going to the gym or building a business. The abuse is entirely encapsulated in the context of intimate relationships. Sure there's the occasional cunt of a coworker, but it's the partners and the mothers who betray the men in their lives, which is devastating. What do these guys have to say? Grow a beard and go to the gym? It's really bizarre.

I’m a 50 year old male stylist ( not gay) and barber I’ve cut hair over 30 years and talked to many women about things, stylists know more than bartenders because your physically touching them and they will open up, I’ve had several older women tell me that they were sexually harassed by their coworkers and definitely bosses to sleep with them while holding that position over their heads, Rich is just simply wrong in this area( I don’t know cars like him) but I guarantee you women have opened up to me way way more than Rich on cars, so take this information and believe me when I tell you sexual harassment is a REAL thing in the work place , not as bad as 20 or 30 years ago , but it happened and Rich is in total denial

I agree with Chris Cuomo's reference to Mike Tyson's comments at 53.20, on rude behavior and disrespectful language. Jordan Peterson also mentioned social media becoming a sanctuary for cowards and psychopaths. Too often bullies, men and women, get away with bad behavior because there are no consequences as the structures of a civlized society protect them.

Unfortunately the topics covered make this a wasted opportunity. We have a legal system that literally makes women better off leaving you than staying. A woman can literally cheat on you, get money in a divorce, and have you giving her 20% of your pretax income for child support. Men having any boundaries (i.e. not playing stupid games and winning stupid prizes) is seen as controlling or abusive. It runs way deeper than transgenders in sports, or whether you should let the woman change a tire. And women actually should have fulfilling careers so I don't know what that whole thing is about.

I only had time to watch the first 19 minutes but I must say that Richard is right on the money. 40 years ago, I got caught up in the feminist movement and never got married because finding a strong, intelligent man was very hard to find. I've learned that coupling and family are far more important than career because now, I'm alone. I don't care what women say aloud, they want strong competent men. Even Gloria Steinham realizes this whether she admits it or not. Chris, you may want to read the Cinderella Complex: Women's Hidden Fear of Independence published in 1981. Also, I don't mind telling ya that Richard Cooper is my kind of guy.

Simple answer is: Educate. A “real man” (or woman, for that fact), is measured by attitudes, behaviour and character. I personally take the current status as a challenge to better myself without loosing who I am. These people with “all the answers” are not the solution, you have to make your own path, find the solutions that are the best for you. I can be sensitive, respectful and considerate whenever necessary, and the same goes to being imposing, assertive and at times, aggressive. There’s a way to feel Nature through your behaviour and at the same time, analise and measure each situation. Men and women are two important factors of the balance.

Can you imagine them crying and complaining about these challenges, seeking attention from others? This doesn't mean they lack emotion. They try to persevere to complete the project. If the Government offered free child care, it would relieve a lot of the stresses modern families feel today in my opinion. To have both parents work full time jobs and pay for child care, sometimes for multiple kids, all day on top of everything else, it is no wonder families are disintegrating and both men and women feel lost. There, a solution instead of a complaint.

Last night there was a girl screaming and crying on the street and I just heard it with my gf watching a movie. She sounded like in pain and wasn't a usual cry..ran down as it sounded like she's in trouble. Interestingly when I left the building another guy ran after me asking if I heard the scream. I said yes and I knew I had a partner in finding out what happened to her. She was surrounded by 3 guys. My first instinct was that she was hurt by them so I was ready to help her by any means with my block mate. It turns out that her uncle just died and she broke down and the guys were her friends. My gf said after you're a hero without capes. Even the fellas appreciated the gesture. Think this was a moment of being a good responsible man that lends a helping hand when needed. Kudos to the guy from the block who acted the same way as me.

The fundamental flaw in his argument is that he is putting all men and all women in the same boat. It is statically impossible for all men to be the same. If a man leans more to the feminine side, he is not wrong for doing so. Too many generalizations are involved in this conversation. I am not saying he is entirely wrong in his thinking, but we can’t put 4 billion men in the same box. Also, he can’t see that we still live in a patriarchal society and women are still oppressed by men? That is super out of touch. Chris does such a great job playing devil’s advocate.

Hi Chris and Richard Cooper. I am not sure I agree with what Richard Cooper had to say completely. I'm 65 years old and maybe my mind now is in a different place. I met my husband on a skyscraper job, he had suspenders and I had on bibs. I didn't ask about how much money he had and could care less. My dad raised my to change tires at an early age. He told me he wouldn't be there forever. I learned a skill as a heavy equipment operator and had my own money. I worked hard and didn't count on any man. Loved my husband who I have been with for 34 years. I think that says it all

Having watched his shows, Rich might suggest that your story is anecdotal and is an extreme minority. As he said on this podcast, look at women''s behavior and not the greeting card statements. Most women do not want to change a tire and would rather have a man or their man do it for them.

After thousands of rejections, and multiple dating sites/app, new clothing, new haircut, im a regular at my gym, eat healthy, over 6ft tall, reading/read self improvement books, gainfully employed, I'm still no closer to being in a relationship, I'm not perfect, but something is wrong here. Thanks Chris and Richard for your insights. I'd go a step further and ask women, instead of rejecting, give it a try, meet for coffee, dinner and go out and give us a chance. Some of us are being robbed of this, for various reasons, known and unknown. Women: you are hurting us, please wake up and realize you are doing some serious damage to us, its not worth it. Thank you

I'm sorry about your relationship disappointments. It is disheartening to hear genuine people, men or women, having troubles with relationships for whatever reason, each at their own level or walk of life. I think you are right when you say "something is wrong there." There are certain under-examined aspects which may be where the roots of your "wrong" lies. 1) "League" and Walk of life This is enormous but in our egalitarian times, no one talks about it. Nothing is more absurd than discussions about what generic "women" and "men want," as if we're talking about homogeneous groups. The common streaks are minimal, whereas the intra-sex differences for each group can be mind-blowing, not just individually, but across categories too. This has nothing to do with the standardized, universalized SMV. I mean what our ancestors called "castes." Not class (socio-economic), but character and neuro-wiring. Two women from two markedly different walks of life probably have a lot more in common with the men in their group than with each other. So lumping them together under the "women" banner is ridiculous and will yield very poor results in the dating project. Other than some hormones and...um, entrances - such women have nothing in common, and ZERO shared tastes in men. If you are meeting women outside your walk of life, they won't be able to appreciate qualities that a woman of your "ilk" might recognize and appreciate right away. Being "equally yoked" is essential but few pay attention to this aspect. The female simpleton may be looking for basics - physical attraction (man slightly more handsome than the devil), money so he can take her out to "fancy places," no beatings. The mid-level woman is probably very social and cares a lot abut optics - how she'll look to her family and friends next to you (your success, career prospects, looks, etc). These can be the worst. The intelligent, high-caliber woman can be very genuine but she is also idealistic and the most difficult to tune into because she only responds to PIES connection (physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual). So it depends on what kind of women you are meeting. 2) Chemistry The manosphere under-rates it at its own peril. Holistic attraction matters most to a woman but men often mistake it for distinct attraction proxies that can be checked off a list, as you did above. Yes, those can help but present no guarantee. Like vitamins isolated in the lab, these traits put together will never make up the desired "juicy fruit" (which includes those vitamins and a lot more elements, many of which remain undiscovered, therefore unnamed). Orion Taraban (search YT) talks about handsome CEO-s who spend the evening alone at the bar. Yes, it's a thing. The manosphere "experts" make a big deal of "Chadism," attributing it to endless laundry lists that women insist on before they are willing to declare a man worthy of Chad status. Except this is not how women function. If they do, they are still in the unconscious stage and THINK they have their "type" figured out - until they meet a guy for whom they fall hopelessly, DESPITE, not BECAUSE, and then all bets are off. He turns out not to have any of the traits on her original list yet something about the dude struck a chord, then she becomes willing to crawl on fire for him. A woman in love is the most devoted and irrational creature that has ever walked the Earth, but also one in touch with her intuition which reflects nature's holistic standards, so perfectly logical in that sense. 3) Psycho-Spiritual Matters Some people walk around with psychological and spiritual baggage without realizing, as if they have a "Reject Me" sign written all over their forehead. Self-esteem issues despite excellent external traits, unresolved childhood traumas, coming from a place of fear and scarcity, suppressed needs, timidity, etc. Others sense the darkness and can reject us despite fabulous external traits. Best wishes to you and I hope you find a woman that fits you just right.

You just demonstrated why your mentality is the problem. Responsibilities based on gender have been around for thousands of years, and bc of the waves of feminism, this has changed things only in the last 80 years. It’s a drop of water compared to what has always been. You’re just plugged in. Buy Rich’s book, and keep an open mind to hopefully one day unplug from the “comfortable lies”

So, your mentality says women should do all of the pink jobs, and men should do all of the blue jobs, because responsibilities based on gender have been around for thousands of years. So…we need to clear out the male executives in the boardrooms of huge companies, give those men a shovel or hammer, put them out to do the blue jobs, and bring the women in to take over the executive positions , or, what most people would consider a pink job. Basically handing the keys of the world over to women to drive it. The men will fill the gas tanks. Are you ok with that? Seems a “traditional” type like yourself wouldnt be very comfortable in that role. I don’t really care either way if women took all of the high paying executive jobs that involve making the important decisions that guide the world.

Interesting topic, so many things that need further discussion. For example, while Cooper may not be saying it (I haven't read his book so I don't know for certain), too many young men think that becoming the "man" Cooper describes requires women to change into something different or less than them. A strong, confident, educated, powerful, independent woman, can also be feminine and happily assume some of the traditional roles within a household without be subservient to her man. Both can, and do exist. Women are every bit our equal in every measurable way, but that doesn't mean they're the same, this is another point missed by young men who want women to worship them.

@@DivaGenevahaha yes, 33 years now, we have three daughters and two granddaughters, so I have a bit of bias in this regard, but I can say that my daughters were raised as my comment suggests above. I made sure the message was a constant drumbeat, that whomever they choose, make sure they know you're with them because you WANT them, not because you NEED them. Make sure you make them feel valued and appreciate, and require the same for yourself. All three of my girls worked on their own cars through high school, they did their own brakes, oil changes, and minor work. They did yard work, went to football games and monster truck rallies with me, and spent a lot of time deep sea fishing. And yet they are as feminine girly girls you'll find. All three are college grads with six figure jobs and like me, make health and fitness a necessary part of life and therefore all three are in fantastic physical shape. My point is this, they have strong "alpha male" husbands because they, like this man said, sought these kind of men. But make no mistake, these alpha males know my daughters are their equal and demand the same respect they want for themselves, and those men happily reciprocate, and that doesn't make them any less of a man, quite the opposite.
