This year (january 4) CHRIS CUTLER, drummer from HENRY COW and founder of the small independent recordlabel RECOMMENDED RECORDS", became 70. A good occasion to upload on You Tube the interview I made with the unique musician on march 6 1999 in London for a 4 hour broadcast on dutch national radio. In the program "Supplement" of monday march 29 1999 I tried to inform the listeners about Chris his development as a musician, about of course Henry Cow, and about RecRec. Parts of my long interview with Chris were broadcasted that evening, with also a lot of music (Henry Cow, other projects, and bands/musicians that were released and distributed by RecRec). Here you can hear the complete interview in 3 parts.
Because it is so long ago (18 years) my memories aren't very clear anymore unfortunately about that one day visit to London. But what I do remember is that I received a very warm welcome.
