It's true. The actors that have been in his immediate circle aren't old enough in the business to have done some things, fall down and then get back up again to a triumphant better life and round 2 of their career like Downey. I run a non profit rescue in the Midwest. Chris is the real deal with these dogs. I’ve watched a few of these now and several of the actors/actresses pretend to like the dogs because they are supposed to and it “looks good” but they have no real connection. Chris not only loved dogs but he was understanding of the way they think and what they need to be comfortable

6:48 I love this. I worked at a dog kennel for a while and there was this one older Rottweiler who didn’t trust strangers. The day he finally walked up to me and asked me to pet him was just the best day of my life. And then after that he became just a big baby who wanted endless love and snuggles lol
