What an epic way to finish off a boring Christmas day. Thank you, Chris, Ed, Dario and Marino. Chris have you ever driven a Carrera GT ? I remember chatting with Dario back in the 90's at RMA days. Two things that always stuck in my mind was Dario saying that the true skill of a driver is to be able to carry way to much speed into a corner and to be able to sort it all out whilst in the corner. Second was that DTM taught you how to maintain being incredibly quick whilst being unable to take the racing line. Carry on the fantastic work at Top Gear Chris you are a legend in my eyes. I also struggle to understand how some racing drivers are not car guys. How does that work. The first word I ever spoke was CAR. They are in my DNA. It is an affliction and illness that will remain with me forever. p.s. I raced at Daytona in 2002

I've just recently done the ecu calibration on of the world's first properly sorted gated 599 conversions. I've paid particular attention to rev dropping issue and have corrected issues done in the original factory calibration where they got the forced amplitude wrong! @chrisharris you'll absolutely love this one.. More news to follow including a 599 GTO gated conversion! Watch this space!

I started watching going, holy crap, this sound... seconds later I did not care one bit, you guys are just so awesome and the stories you tell, holy crap. If I could have 0,0001% that awesome in my life I'd die a happy man! :O

One of the best conversations I have heard with four true petrol heads that have access to cars that only we can dream of. To hear you comment on them as though is if I was their with and my boys talking about certain cars that are special, but within our affordable realms. That would be me having a 1977 911S with a 930s kit and a 3.2 that I’ve had since 1992, which gets to run a friends 997 TT and thinks it just next level. The 911 is now tired and hasn’t been driven in years (shame) (the reason? Life, marriage, kids) and always wanted to convert it into a 3.8 RS clone, ever since I got my monthly issue and opening the article in Excellence that featured the white 964 RS with the Shell badges. How about the four of you do a Podcast of “Pimp My Ride” the Porsche way and give all of you a great story to tell when your all riding in your 412? Too many adverts but a great podcast. You can convert the E46 M3 from SMG to manual as it is the same gearbox. They did this on Wheeler Dealers with Mike & Ant. I hated my M3's SMG around town and hill starts. Horrible as the handbrake is utter crap in them so it's hard to hill start. Gearchanges take ages but lifting off the throttle makes it smoother.
