Despite the negative comments I'm actually digging this, there's no lying here, just a guy doing what he wants to do and with a smile on his face... and that's cool. It's good to see someone having fun, no huge production values just a tongue in cheek presentation of a catchy honest song... nice one Chris and all the best!

Yeah, the good, "old", cheesy rock and roll. Loved it. I don't get the haters tho. It's obvious this is what Chris wants and likes to do, and if you want something deep, go listen to Dream Theater, Pink Floyd, Rush or whatever the fuck you want. Leave the man be and let him do what makes him happy. If you don't like it, move on. Life is short, and wasting time on hate is a luxury. Rock on, Chris! \m/

I for one am very happy that his prediction that he would be dead in 10 years during the pool scene did not come true. The best thing he has done for himself personally has been to give up the drink.I have always respected and appreciated what Chris has done through his career. It is great to see that he is still doing what he loves to do, and still having a blast doing it. Kudos to the man.If you make it to Australia one day then I am there

It's so refreshing to hear some real music in this day in age that's so genuine. I hope Chris gets his due on the new material he's putting out since it's criminal that more music sites aren't picking up on this. So far I've been impressed with everything I've heard, and the songs get stuck in my head like Love Machine and Wild Child did 30 years ago. I really like the videos and his sense of humor too. He's delivering his classic WASP tone, but putting the cool bluesy spin on things with his new sound and look that's awesome in 2015. Eddie Trunk get this guy on your show!

My favorite W.A.S.P. guitarist by far. It's good to see he's still rocking and cranking out catchy tunes. There's a good solid hook here. I've heard people knock his vocals, but it is what it is. It's not going to appeal to everyone and they shouldn't try. There will always be those who appreciate it for what it is. It's good to see he's still being creative.

People, you are really not getting it. Are the lyrics written at a 3rd grade level? Yes. Is the subject being trivialized? Of course. Are the guitar chords used basic and entry level? Absolutely. This is a guy who obviously is a motor head (gear head, wrench head, etc) and likes a good foot tapping, hard rocking, basic song structure with a 4/4 beat and not much substance. But that is the point! Just a good ol' boy with a beat up old guitar and and a desire to express himself. The bass is locked in with the drums to drive the riff, and throw some power chords on top...*BAM!* You got it.

Catherine Holmes No offense intended of course, but the lyric "how much money do I need to make, the more I make the more they seems to take" is not exactly college level literature. I love it! You can't help bobbing your head and singing along. I am going to check iTunes the next time I am there to see if there's any songs form Chris.

Täking Thë High Roäd If you are looking for literature i will suggest Baudelaire, Rimbaud , Edgar Allan Poe, Mark Twain or Henry James .... There is Heavy metal and songs are a part of life ...life is not often literature ...Let say i will believe your " no offense intended "..:)

Täking Thë High Roäd Interesting. So should Chris try to compose a song like, say, the late great, Shawn Lane? Shawn could play circles around even Chris's friend EVH and most others (no disrespect to EVH, Chris) yet his "Powers of Ten" album was hard to listen to. Yet, you have "crappy" players like, say, Mick Mars or C.C. Deville and they came up with mega hits and wrote songs still played on the radio today. (I love Mick and CC, please note) As my old guitar teacher said: What good is playing guitar if you can't write a song? I understand Chris isn't too happy with Blackie, but Chris wrote fantastic music in WASP...and this song here happens to be a great song with great lyrics. Well done Chris. I know you say EVH is above your level, but I prefer your solo's over his.

Am I imagining it or does this song seem like a bit of a middle finger at Blackie Lawless and Kill Fuck Die? Like twist up the chorus lyrically, give a wink and a smirk and that finger is aimed at Blackie. But again, maybe it's just me imagining it. I tend to overthink things. Regardless, good stuff. This is Holmes at his best, a little laid back, a little bit of a punk attitude thrown in. Hope you keep on giving us more, Chris. Song like this makes my day a little bit better.

EXCELLENT!!! Mr. Holmes, This is the first time I have heard you and your band. Your unique phrasing and 2+ fret bending of notes leads me to believe that you should be recognized as one of the most talented Guitarist's in the world. If I may add the following; the truth of your lyrics and vocal delivery, (combined with your band members talent) shall prove to be an "inspiration to all the aspiring young musicians" who appreciate "Heavy Metal" (especially "H.M. Blues") as I have since the days of Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin, etcetera. Thankfully, the integrity and purity of this genre is being carried on by you in this day of "corporately polluted trash dump air-wave sounds" that are being promoted to young people in the "sadly degenerating and spastic U.S.A Inc.". Thanks for Inspiring one of the "good old timers! Now to get back to playing my Rickenbacker.
