I was at that game with my wife! We were in the 2nd row behind Rocket announcer, Bill Worrell. He was shaking his head in amazement several times in that game gushing over LSU's talent. CJ had an incredibly fast release...what a once in a decade type player!

He was better than Steph right out of the gate .In his freshman year he was breaking scoring records left and right. And he played only 2 years. Steph played for 4 years in college .and didn't break Rauf's scoring record .He is a natural. And all those talks about how they were guarding people in the 90's. They can't guard rhis man. And they didn't make plaays for him to score. Steph can shoot but if put him in the 90's. he won't be able to score 50 .

agree, todays nba theres magnetic in the ball and hoop rims,
@Peppy8692 ай бұрын
@@maalikwilliams80stfu with that dumb magnetic rim talk And Steph would absolutely cook in the 90s. Stop lying. Especially in college. He has a bag also and if he didn’t, let’s not act like it’s soooo difficult to come off a screen in college heck that’s all JJ reddick did Now in the 90s NBA, Steph wouldn’t be as good SIMPLY because of coaching and they wouldn’t scheme around his game. The same way rauf didn’t really put up amazing stats. Curry wouldn’t either. But they would still be just as good if not better than Rauf’s NBA Stats

I like Steph Curry at this time, but definitely, Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf is the better SC from way back '80s. It's just because of STUPID MORON NBA Commissioner by the name Stern that took away the chance for a basketball legend like Rauf to rise in his time....and be in the top of the HALL of FAME.
