You can see Troy from the jump taking a deeper, yet accurate angle, knowing how fast CJ is. #25 Ryan takes far too aggresive angle and gets left in the dust. In fact, it's because of Troys angle CJ hops out of bounds. (Then Troy pops him!!)

Yep. The problem in his last year or so was that he lost a half-step so that his angles were off just a hair. But overall, his career was a beautiful thing to watch.

1. I've always respected when fans can agree outside of fandoms that, yeah, one guy was actually probably that good, and 2. I also really liked the Bengals before our teams got super acrimonious in the 2010s, and if any team other than mine were to win the AFC North I'd have preferred it to have been the Bengals. @@seahawks4life951 every player does not cover a 20 yard difference while being assigned coverage. How many safeties do you see disrupting the run game? His intuition and play reading was on a different level and he had the speed to get back in those plays even when downfield.

Dude didn't even miss a game due to injury with the Titans, he was a victim of a random act of violence in his 8th year, but even then, that was in the off season. What are you talking about? If anything, what could've helped his career was if the Titans had fired fisher sooner and got any offensive coach or had any luck developing WRs and QBs. The Titans have been terrible at developing WRs for over a decade, and QB play just got up to par with tannehill. He was the lone consistent weapon for far too long

@@MuckNoya Ed reed was more of a ball hawk. He wasn’t always in the pursuit like Troy was. Troy can hit top speed in a heartbeat that’s what set him apart from other safeties.

It’s weird, when I think of explosive, I think of Troy. But when it’s comes to a fast 40 I wouldn’t necessarily think of Troy at first lol. When you think of Troy, it’s speed+power, but that 40 really puts the speed into perspective.
