He bragged about shooting "looters" during Katrina, we are talking about black folk who were left behind after Hurricane flood and the levy broke trying to survive by any means. He lied about a fellow veteran and lose the defamation case. He lied about killing two people who tried to hijack his truck. Guy did a good job but he's not exactly a great human being. Objectively speaking the US military has killed more women and children than 'enemy combatants' - most of which we manufactured in the first place. I have empathy for those who were drafted but if you're volunteering to be in the US military I have to assume you either had no other opportunities OR you just want to kill people legally - those folks don't deserve any respect, Chris Kyle specifically is the latter in fact, total sociopath.

If your wondering what happened, after he came home from his third tour, he was not the same man he once was. He had changed due to what had happened to him. He went to therapy but it wasn’t enough. This was until he found a group of veterans like him that would go to the shooting range and share their experiences and it really helped him. He got better. Until one day, a tragedy occurred. He took a soldier who had major ptsd to the range to help him. The soldier shot and killed Chris Kyle. Rest in peace.

The GOAT is not a title I’d give him. As an American, the true GOAT sniper is Simo Häyhä, hands down. Very humble, very dedicated, very skilled, very respectful… and very deadly… used an outdated rifle with iron sights and wasn’t even able to be seen by enemy infantry and artillery nor anti snipers while simultaneously taking out the enemy. He mastered it solo, didn’t need a team with him at all. Knew his weapon 100% inside and out and his judge of distance was incredible.
