A Blue Norther, also known as a Texas Norther, is a fast moving cold front marked by a rapid drop in temperature, strong winds, and dark blue or "black" skies. The cold front originates from the north, hence the "norther", and can send temperatures plummeting by 20 or 30 degrees in merely minutes. Great Reaction.

@@LoyLeecomedy I grew up in eastern OK, we went into a restaurant once, it was in the 80s. When we left a couple hours later, it was snowing like crazy. True story. Temps dropped over 50 degrees, just that fast. That’s why that part of the country gets so many tornadoes, we have warm, humid air that gets hit with sudden cold fronts in the spring and sometimes fall. Those don’t get along, lol, you get bad storms, rotation, trashed houses and destroyed trailer parks, real quick like.

I’ve seen a Blue Norther drop the temperature near 50 degrees, in August, in Texas. The sky went from clear to Black in five minutes. Getting all the stables and barns secured and back into the house was nothing short of miraculous. As for the ending part, the ‘big ol Texas grin’... his friend had successfully told those bikers a Texas Tall Tale.

Yes, sadly ( and for some odd reason) I didnt find that out til AFTER I recorded it when I was looking up something on him. I think that my reaction might have been a tad different and would have mentioned it. On one hand, i didnt feel that just putting a title card at the end was enough but I didnt want to redo the video and pretend that I hadnt just done the reaction video before. I was definitely saddened. He looks and sounds like exactly what I thought a cowboy would be like.

A black tornado is the biggest and baddest of them all, normally a F5. I'm sure being a Bostonian, you've felt those ole' blue northers. And bulldogging is a rodeo term for steer wrestling, when you drop off a horse and grab the bull by the horns, and drop him to the ground. Not something you'll do to the Mississippi River. Great reaction, Sir

George Strait at the astrodome was awesome, but he made it he 80,000 crowd feel like a dive bar with a great band lol ( in the best way possible) So to see chris go full rockstar was pretty awesome!!

Garth and Chris were friends. Garth didn't steal his show, he based his show on Chris's. Basing your show on another's is not the same as stealing the show. In stealing a show there is no honor. Garth patterned his first shows after Chris's then took it to the next level. If you've never been to a Garth Brooks show, you are missing out on an experience of a lifetime.

An old blue northern refers to a hurricane type weather system that comes from the northeast and moves in a easterly direction. Usually in the wintertime. and to bulldog something is a rodeo term that refers to chasing a steer from horseback and jumping from the horse onto the steer's back and physically taking it down and pinning it like a wrestler. And yes these are, to say the least, difficult. Loved your reaction. If you like Chris, you should listen to "Hair Trigger Colt 44", or "Cadillac Ranch". Peace.

'rope an ol blue northern' -- a blue northern is a cold front that comes from the north pole and swoops down across the country. -- so he is saying you can try to rope the wind, which is impossible, like taking a true cowboy's hat. Also: Steer wrestling, also known as bulldogging, is a rodeo event in which a horse-mounted rider chases a steer, drops from the horse to the steer, then wrestles the steer to the ground by grabbing its horns and pulling it off-balance so that it falls to the ground. Good luck wrestling the Mississippi River. You wont win.

yea... about that.. I dunno why I said that. I guess growing up in the 80's, whenever anyone starts off a conversation with "My dad(brother, cousin) was in Vietnam..." or anything close that, its always an awkward conversation cus I'm Vietnamese. I think it was just projecting the trauma. I was gonna edit it out, but I try to edit as little as possible. I try to show my authentic reaction as oppose to some act. As i was putting it together, I was really hoping that it would just go unnoticed, because this had nothing to do with it and I was just projecting.

First vid, immediate reaction - please stop saying "It's your boy..." It's the most cliche, trite, tiresome thing that everybody without any originality says. Seriously, dude, when you think about it for five seconds you must know that's true. Good luck, you seem like a nice guy.
