I've seen a lot of concerts now, and I have to say that the live talent of Coldplay, their ability to put on a show, and just HOW much of your money's worth you get for seeing them in person, is PHENOMENAL. I don't want to name names but there's some great bands I've seen live and the presentation of their show, or how "into" it they were, was a bit lacking. It's incredibly underrated how good a show Coldplay put on and I'm so glad Conan spotted this

Back in 2001, 2002, when I was deep in the partying scene, when things would get “too real”, I’d walk out to my car, put on Coldplay, and just zone out for a bit. They helped save my sanity. Years later, they’d help me and my ex-wife get to a place where we could communicate and show respect to each other. Years after that, they’d help me get through my Mom’s cancer. So, hate all you want or love all you want, I haven’t heard any of their new stuff in years but I’m forever a fan. And of course, Coco is just the best. All love to you and yours.

How can you not love Chris Martin, such a beautiful soul, such a genuine smile, talented. I watched Coldplay live and it was such an amazing experience, watched Beyonce live at Glastonbury and it was equally amazing. Now there’s nobody left of my generation worth seeing live, wish I could have seen the older greats like Hendrix, or MJ, and in terms of females, Sade or Celine Dion would have been amazing live.

Coldplay has always maintained some level of humility that's kept them grounded. I think even they didn't think they'd get this big as quick. I recall "A Rush of Blood To the Head" being a real game changer, by the time "Clocks" was released, they were going to arenas. I actually did doubt that a piano based band as them could ever play massive stadiums, and turns out I was wrong. Pretty amazing.

Coldplay has always had that something that has always spoken to people, and I'm saying this as someone who remembers the hate that they got. They just have that something that kind of keys into that sense of humanity, and their live shows back up every word they sing.

I know a lot of people hate on Coldplay nowadays but say what you want about them, they give some of the best live shows ever! I’ve been to a lot of concerts but theirs is definitely in my top five. If you’re not a fan of them and if you have the money, at least go to one of their shows. It might change your mind about them! On top of that, they are all chill and nice dudes.

With last word I felt like listening again, as Chris Martins tells he is so sorry but forgot the question. "I asked you how the first world war started." "Yeah a bit like that." What's "th-ed"? Serious question in its content, for a laugh see my 1st comment "on the bottom". Having theorized quite a lot in one comment on actors on youtube - answering "questions" this is a further example in my mind for a duality of thinking to oneself (then thinking out loud should not stop in that "stage", but catch eyes and ears that are of others) - maybe another word for this is singing or music; you got to be catchy, offer some hook, it is communication with strangers in the night - and, second, as said, thinking together in a talk or in a group. There are many groups not single artists, however the super days of groups might have had seen their zenith. Here, it's the singer of a band that "thinks out loud". "Out" he'd be if he did not stick to the "question" of the interviewer. Only now I realize the title of the show: "...needs a friend". I'm close at getting the point. It's different if that sofa is Martin's and O'Brian gives ground to think aloud and tell instead of singing, or if that man nobody's familiar with is Martin's new boss who's legitimally questioning him - and whose rules, question, Martin as another brick in the wall has to fit to. He "forgot the question", is "so" or very sorry. There was no question. Interviewe said: part of the moment or the like, not did he said: part of the group or just being yourself and sing your mind out that is not theirs. - When or how did the First World War start. This is something completely different, and it's ironizing how much Martin had been "allowed" to drift off topic. However, he wasn't even off at that moment, he says "yeah, a bit like that". To me, Martin in a soft tone turns the "question" around, taking up on common irony (irony works here): It is not something completely different. Did the aggression start because one of the partners of war did think too much to himself - Martin was thinking out loud. The point is hierarchy. At times, you must not be "part of the moment", I guess, that's what O'Brain said, and you must follow close to "get it", just get it, listen to every word; however Martin might have done that too - und even grasped it completely, as the deepest irony that would be "satire" in terms to me would be imply that there was no question "at all", which translates to: what rules of your would I have not abidden to? There was no question (there was formal imperative form your side). So, how did the first world war start? By thinking too much within each other and forgetting about the opponent's "thinking". A little bit like that. If a bright fellow Putin certainly was in his days being a spy, before the war, CIA and KGB might have been able to prevent or stop the upraisn war that goes on and on.

This guy seems so great. Both him and Gwenyth give off this soothing calming energy. No idea why they didn’t/couldn’t work out. They still seem to me like a great couple together.
