This is why Chris Martin is the frontman of one of the most successful bands of all time. Chris Martin is no where on the list of singers with the best vocal technique/control/power but yet he fronts one of the biggest bands in the world. His delivery and emotions channeling is simply out of this world.

I don’t know much about Coldplay or anything in this world but... he’s playing an F major sixth chord in the chorus. Instead of the (I think) usual F major seventh.

The entire song is B - F# - E The chorus part start with E - G#M - F

He's doing a lot of extra little stuff - the main thing at the beginning is instead of B, F#, E...he makes it B, F#/B, E/B...keeping the B in the bass. I can notate the whole thing if you want, lemme know. pcheber@yahoo.com Peace.
