The more I find out about Chris Martin, the more I admire his genius mind, compassionate heart, and genuine soul. The fact that he created a song tied to a Shel Silverstein poem just puts him on a whole different level. This song gave me so much comfort when I suddenly lost my mother and still does, 5 years later. Chris is the da Vinci of today's music world

Chris is so special, i adore the way he sees the world and i feel like it's very close to the way i do. The concept of finding completeness within yourself is so important, i feel like it's not talked about enough but it's really important to believe in yourself and know that you're the one person you can really count on (in a good way, it doesn't mean one doesn't need to have relationships). So yeah i'm just so grateful to have Coldplay, not only they make me cry and smile and sing out loud, they also have taught me a lot

Exactly! Coldplay also taught me to be happy with myself. To not feel lonely when I am alone. The character develops the best when you know yourself the best and know how to make yourself happy. I walk in the forest and in the park and do things on my own now. I used to be very depressed but I feel I found my way through his songs

If you do have a bird, let him fly around in the house for a few minutes each day. I know there's a chance he'll make a mess or land on your head, but he loves it. Don't worry. He'll go back to his cage. That's where his food is.

Great concept on the O!! Great song!!! We are already whole and complete from within ourselves as individuals. At the end of the day all there is is you. Believe it or not. And no matter how many people there are around you you can sometimes sense the feeling of being alone. But there are times when we meet someone and they play a integral part in our lives for that time and moment they were needed, but then comes the time to move on with our lives without them. Wish for them the best things in life because we are all here to figure out what life is about. Experiences are a major part of the human existence. We should learn to live, love, let live, let go and fly!! 🙂🙂🙂

What I've seen from messages from people is that they see this as sort of a funeral song. Fly on. Maybe someday I'll fly next to you. It really touched that way when my dad passed.

It's the first time in my life I ever hear someone else echo exactly how I have always felt about caged birds (ever since I was a very young child and was given my own pet budgie). Seeing a caged bird breaks my heart. That creature can fly. And it's in a cage?
