Melling does things like Efren, very creative. They are just entertaining as hell. People have off games betimes. Doesn't detract from their over all greatness.

I don't think that carom on the 3-9 was a mistake. When you're down, looking at the shot, you can see if it goes by the adjacent ball. He knew if the balls were exactly parallel the odds of that 3 ball going in was good. So he HAD to just 'skin' the 9 for the 3 to go in. Orcollo has been known to get up 2 or 3 hours before sunrise to warm up for a match that day.

I thought Chris Meiling is a heavy under dog to Dennis? How can Dennis be a menace as the commentator said?

What is Alex talking about @14.40 the backspin is the only spin that takes no matter what the condition is of the table it even works on the worse of tables!

I think what he is referring to is that if you over power that shot, the cue ball will stay on the tangent line too long before it hits the rail, thus coming short for shape on the 3. He needed the arc from the draw before he hit the rail.

When you start striking the balls well. It helps to actually run racks and get a feel for the table. And it sits your opponent in the chair longer
