Chris Paul is truly the best point guard in the game today. He does what his team needs. He is surrounded by jump shooters and two amazing dunking big men with defensive minds. When he's out there everybody gets their shots and that's why the Clippers are so lethal. And if his teammates aren't doing well, he takes it upon himself to score and carries his team to the end. High efficiency, clutch and respected by his teammates… just pure greatness!

Ballislife Fitzgerald I cant think of a point guard who has without the necessary supporting cast. Chris Paul has never had that he does about as much as any pg can for his team. Best point in the league

CP3's got one of the best jumpers in the league especially from the mid range, I wish he was a bit more selfish and took that elbow shot more often, I see him pass up a lot of those when he's open to try to set up his teammates, but then again that's what makes him such a good PG.

His passing is incredible. The way he puts air under it for the lob or the 3pnt corner. To spinning it to the wings its just perfect. Flaten it out he just does it all

The most impressive part about Paul is that he has never averaged more than 3.0 turnovers a game. This is a high-volume assist guy (9-11 asst/g) who turns it over about 2.2 to 2.5 times a game. In perspective, for the seasons where Rondo averaged 11.2,11.7, and 11.1 assists, he averaged 3.4, 3.6, and 3.9 turnovers respectively. Westbrook has never averaged LESS than 3.3.
@Humanbeaver
@Humanbeaver 10 жыл бұрын
Why exactly are you putting Westbrook and Rondo into this ??? Why didn't you put Irving , Curry , Rose , Williams , Wall , or Lillard in your little compare , bash , and contrast. You could have ended by the end of the second sentence.
@EmmanuelStalling
@EmmanuelStalling 10 жыл бұрын
***** They were EXAMPLES of other point guards who people consider to be some of the best in the league. Not everyone knows what a good assist-to-turnover ratio looks like. Had you read my comment as a person who appreciates facts instead of with your feelings, you would see that the key words were "IN PERSPECTIVE".
@EmmanuelStalling
@EmmanuelStalling 10 жыл бұрын
***** Further, I chose Rondo because he is one of the only PGs to average 11+ assists recently to form a comparison, and I chose Westbrook because he is consistently in the conversation as challenging Paul for the best PG in the league. It's only bashing to a person who thinks that a PG averaging 3+ turnovers is high. Rondo and WB's numbers were normal, which illustrates the point of how good Paul is with taking care of the ball. Does that answer your stupid questions?

Emmanuel Stalling ok thanx for the explanation but i really didnt get caught in my feelings , i was just wondering the why the choice of those players

***** Yeah, and you chose to slide in the words " little compare , bash , and contrast." in there to make a point. But you really didn't have a point.

When you make these highlights, can you please include a few seconds before the screen and roll? Students of the game will want to see how the point guard is setting up his defender, and where the big comes from to set the screen. These details are hugely important.

Jerwan Lewis I know thats what i be telling people i mean if rings meant everything then Mario Chalmers is better than Chris Paul WHICH HES NOT!! Thats why i compare CP3 to legends cause he's just that good i mean CP3 is 6ft tall 175lbs and can get you 40 points 15 assist 8 rebounds and 5 steals and you would not be surprised cause he's Chris Fucking Paul!!! Thats why i say if he gets a ring because if he dont people are going to down how great he truly is but in my honest opinion he a top 5 point guard whether he gets it or not!

this is great but one request, put in more of player's dribble moves to get to the paint, there are very helpful to learn from. We understand he is a great shooter, its kind of boring watching him shoot jump shots, there is not much to learn (I understand its important to watch a good shooter shoot too, but more dribble drives please!)

The only thing i don't like about CP3 is his lack of aggression since his injury. Now I'm not saying he's not aggressive but he needs to look to score more. Instead of trying to his teammates then wait until it's too late to try and score. It seems like since he's more quick than fast he worries about getting blocked more. This where look at Kyrie and Harden how they're not fast but they slow down take contact and finish. Not saying they're better.

No matter where the foul is called, or what kind of foul it is, if the basket goes in and the officials decide to count it, this three for instance, than there is a chance for one more point at the line, like what happend here. A great player,floor general...but he is still a star,not yet a superstar

Did u get that from skip bayless?? LOL. Define superstar then. The ONLY reasoning I can agree with you is Isiah Thomas' stance that championships elevate u to superstar status, but in that case, neither is KD or Carmelo or Drose a couple seasons ago or Allen Iverson ever or Steve Nash ever. Jason Kidd became a superstar after his prime using that logic

Paul is the best PG in the league and a great leader so I would say he has been a superstar

Superstar is overrated, it doesn't mean the best, just the most famous. I'll take Rondo, the best floor general with only TP as a worthy rival.

Joshua Lucas Nike made Jordan, Nike designs the shoes for Jordan, so Nike did make them, and yes they need a better design because they are ugly, but good on court
