Chris Rivers and his mother Liza Rios (the widow of Big Pun) join me on this episode. They speak about being homeless and living in a shelter after Big Pun passed away. Chris Rivers also speaks on dealing with sadness, mental illness and dealing with the pressure of having to provide for his family at 8 years old. Chris Rivers also speaks on doing press and interviewers only asking him about his father (Big Pun). There is much more to this episode. So I think you should give this a listen and share it to your social media accounts. Also share it with your friends and loved ones who might be dealing with sadness.

I do not understand why everybody hatin on this man for having an opinion of HIS own father. He is entitled to feel how he feels. One thing i HATE is when a shitty person dies and theyre treated like gold just because they are not here nemore. Just because people are talented does not mean they are good people. Point blank period if i watched my father pistol whip and beat the shit out of my mother for years idgaf who he is i would feel the same way.

The day before the show he told Fat Joe that he wouldn´t do it because his mom told him not to. THE DAY BEFORE! That´s sabotaging the whole tribute. He could kiss is rap career good bye. Fat Joe has alot of power and influence in hip hop.

I can understand why that fan cried next to Pun's casket. During my dark days.. I used to rhyme along to Pun's songs and I'd smile while doing it because it amazed me how gifted he was lyrically. He mixed wordplay and flows beautifully.

I agree with Chris Rivers that people automatically think that if you show love you're a d rider and people automatically think that if you give constructive feedback you're a hater.💯

Chris there’s nothing you can do to come out of your Father’s shadow at this stage. He was one of the greatest rappers to have ever lived and that’s part of you! My humble advice would be to ride the wave and use his platform for now. Then when you’ve got that stage move into gear 6 when you’ve got the world in your hands and eventually the stigma of being your fathers son will wear off. Use your blessing young King👊🏾💜👊🏾

I don't see a problem with him resembling his pop's work... the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Nobody complains about the Marleys sounding like Bob. Michael Jordan's son didn't go pro... so just being a son ain't good enough. STOP giving this man hell yall! He's definitely got his own style too, and has a well deserved spot in HipHop. PEACE

It may be possible that no one was willing to put up with lyza in order to help puns kids remember that back in those days lyza didn’t even realize how much people loved pun because of their personal issues unfortunately but Chris is definitely a product of the great man pun was musically. This is a very complicated situation 👊🏾
